Beyonce always said that she is an African American woman. Yes she has creole ancestry from her mother side but also her mother has black in her too. We all know that Creole is a mixture but Beyonce, also like the hispanic culture. She made a statement that she wish she was latina because the culture is beautiful.

There are different types of creole. Creoles are black. It is when you have a hertiage mixed of different countries although you are essentially black. It has nothing to do with your colour or shade of skin. Most of us become creole because of the mixing from slavery. Beyonce is creole because she has spanish and french in her blood from way back in her blood line but she is still black.
