@MrRiverBeaver I posted this video back in 2008, these guys are most certainly not my favorite band but back in 2008 I really did like them, hence they were "one of my favorite bands" (read the description). But to comment on the song, i think the fact that this band just speeds up the tempo makes people mistake it as better insturmentals when in fact the music is nearly identical to HORSE's version. I don't particularly care for this remake.

I love the cleaner synth, but the vocals wreck it. There's no change in pitch, no emotion. When Nathan screams, it's pure, unbridled energy and emotion, when this dude screams/growls, it's just kinda' dull.

I haven't really listened to much deathmetal/core, but I've never heard any that I really like. Death Metal doesn't appeal to me, Deathcore is alright, but I haven't heard any bands with a good vocalist. I do enjoy the death growling/grunts, but this is just really dull.

Well i guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion but i honestly think this version is much better than the original. first off the original's music seemed a bit disorganized. Plus the singer's voice of HORSE the band seems a bit choppy (particularly for Cutsman). I believe this version had better vocals and better instrument playing.
