  • No, the most successful reps were found driving BMW's.

  • @whiteley1989 Fuck you! ford are way better than shitty common Cockshalls! The 1998 Astra looks like fucking dog shit, but the Focus is beauty on wheels. I'm sorry, but have to disagree with you on that one. Ford are the best....... FACT!!!!!!!! P.s If you like Cockshalls soooo much, don't bother finding every YouTube video on decent ford cars and trolling....... Dickhead!

  • sold my r reg mondeo diesel taxi to another cabbie with 286.000 on clock,it went on to do 480,00 on same engine, good oil & filter often

  • My mondeo 2,0 has done 280.000 km. and it drives so well!!! I love it! My first car!

  • a good ghia x is lot harder to find because they are much rarer.

  • Gha X is the most comfortable but is much harder to find than other mondeos.

  • Yes its a buyers market if you want an LX but the Ghia X is not a common model because it was the most expensive new although it was the best model for comfort. I dont think u can get leather seats on the latest 07 onwards models.

  • vecchia come mio nonno!!!

  • I got a 97 2L si mk 2 mondeo 196,000 miles and still going strong!

  • mine is 95 2.5L v6 , 24 v , with 110.00 kilometers ...

    great car

  • What a rubbish review. The bloke has used every motoring cliche going. Yawn!

  • Nice car

  • I've had Fords and cheap motors they are but it depends which model you go for.

I had a '84 XR3i from new which was great and 1990 which had faults and rusted badly etc.

Had a 5 series BMW E39 and that is solid and also a mondeo which is my mountain bike transporter to Wales.

Its old and looked after, not bad but the engine wil outlast the bodywork.

Go for an Si sports model or ghia.

My A4 was nice too but a newish mondeo is ok but depreciation is ideal for 2nd hand.

  • thanks with all of the best

  • FORD ; First on Race Day !

  • well i've had a mondeo v6 since october 2001 and to date has been very reliable and has not brokedown at all since i've had it

  • Same here but i do regret selling my mondeo for a Nissan Primera, worst car to date, gives me trouble and costs ££££ for parts and maintenance.

  • what car do you drive then, bet its a vauxhall you drive which are shite.

  • LOL :D:D:D:D:D

  • well, i have a ford escort (1997), and had only one time a problem with the engine... otherwise it worked well all the time....

  • I have a 97 mondeo estate and you`ll never guess its also had a front spring snap, and the central locking give endless trouble, we've replaced a rear suspension arm and front suspension bushes and it only done about 70000 miles

  • much better than the sierra it replaced

  • better than the sierra it replayced. better handling and steering faster too.

  • The 1993 Sierra GLX 2.0i DOHC I had before I got my late 2000 Mondeo Ghia X 2.0i would smoke any 2.0i Mondeo. Also the Sierra Ghia has more kit? (Which is Damm Strange) The main reason I got the Mondeo is Air Con is standard on most Mk2's while it was an £995 Opion on the Sierra and you can't get the gas for it anymore. I would still swap my Mondeo for a Sierra Cosworth 4x4 thou.

  • Nice car not very quick compaired with other cars but parts are cheap which maintaining it that much more affordable.
