  • Im watching this at like 10:30 pm and now i have a.suddent erge to eat churros

  • i have everything, except a fryer.. so what do i do? :(

  • @cloverofficialleader You can use any small fry pan to fill up with oil. Happy frying! :-)

  • Okay so I made these but the piping tip i used was made of plastic and it fell into the hot oil, losing its shape. I ended up rolling them and they looked like sad twigs. :(

  • Someone told me churros came from China because portuguese sailors saw them making a fried dough. The recipe spread to Spain.

  • So I just made this recipe turned out great but I made a few modifications: 1. After the water comes to a boil/butter melts remove from heat source. 2. After working in flour let it sit for 15 minutes at room temp (reduce denaturation of egg). 3. Reduce salt to 1 tsp. I used 1 tbsp and it was WAY too much. Besides that wonderful consistency/texture/flavor...except for the salt.

  • @Louwhoyoudo those work well too! thanks for trying out the recipe!

  • is a stick of butter around the same as 113grams?

  • the churros by themsekves at the end, are they almost salty tasting or nice and sweet?

  • Making some for clase de Español =D

  • I came here to make Churros, but I left falling in love.

  • Yes, it worked! I love churros! From now on, whenever I'm hungry, I will eat churros!!!

  • @AramSimonov Happy to hear you enjoyed the video!

  • This recipe for Churros is incorrect. This recipe is from Mass Pump or choux pastry (to be used for Profiteroles or Eclairs). The true recipe of Churros is just water with a pinch of salt and sugar, pour the flour and cooking it until the dough comes away from the pot. Mass is then passed by a "churrera" to give form of churro, and fried, nothing more.

And the " Dulce de leche" that places him is condensed milk, the real is different in flavor and color (brown and richer!).

  • Could someone tell me if we could use Canola oil. I never use vegetable oil. I find it not only greasy but unhealthy. Thanks.

  • @islandgirl3330 Yep, canola oil can work but a lot of it comes from genetically modified rapeseed...make sure to get the non-modified good stuff.

  • @cejavineyards Thanks. I always buy a few when I see them and visit Mexico. I am going to try to make them one day.

  • @cejavineyards nothing is going to happen to you if you eat canola oil made from genetically modified rapeseed.

  • one tablespoon of salt? thats some pretty salty churros

  • @Darkgreensky you should make them and see ;-)

  • @iTomatoBOOM In ml they are as follow:

    625 ml water
