Stock 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Sounds

i currently own a 05 cobalt ss/sc i love the thing cant wait to put the stage 2 pully in it. onley problem i see with cobalts is the front end the bushings go was to fast because u cant grease them....

@mrdiaz0108 The ticking? Yes, that is the direct injection high pressure fuel pump. The other GM engines with DI have heavy insulation covering the pump (Camaro V6, Equinox, Terrain, SRX, etc...)

@pmic2011 --- I've put 18,000 miles on my 09 SS Turbocharged sedan. It's been perfectly reliable for me. It's a good daily driver, too. 26 MPG all in so far.

Sick!!! I test drove one and it had a mean ass back fire when I was messing around before coming to a stop at a stop sign!! I fell in love with it and I can't wait to get it!!! Nice video! The exhaust sounds EXACTLY

Thanks. The backfire and snapping is pretty awesome! I really like the stock exhaust and plan to keep it that way. The SS Turbocharged is a real bargain of a performance car and is very underrated.

@fusionvic the stock exhaust is nice, but you can also do a muffler delete. sounds the same, just a little louder. look some up. cheap mod too

Thanks for the tip! I might do that if I can hear it in person. I don't like ultra loud systems because it would hurt my ears.

Hey man I just boght an 08 turbalt and your engine seems to have a ticking noise in it also,is that normal?

Yep, the rear brakes tend to wear out fast though. Just get a set of Hawk HPS pads for the rear and you'll be set.

@pmic2011 yea I have an 08 and i love it.....this car is so fun to drive...i put some aftermarket parts on it so my warranty is gone though...Dejon powerhouse has some nice parts for the car

Its just the fuel injectors ticking. Normal sound.
