It's our culture to dance like this! We have stories that explain why we dance this way. It's just like white people. We all have our traditions. Just think of this like Christians going to church! ^.^

wow. i'm uncultured because i find customs from other cultures amusing? lets think about this. i wasn't raised on an indian reservation - i don't live in america. therefore i have had zero exposure to american indian rituals apart from a couple books i've read. i have a lot of respect for american indians and their culture but its only natural for someone who has grown up in western culture to find something so different amusing and strange. i'm only being honest.

Traditional is better than the fancy glitzy costumes of some dancers. Dancing for the people not the show of it. Beautiful dancing, beautiful dancer.

i was privileged to learn some native American dances from a dance group called kossa. i was with them for almost 2 years and i picked up a lot.
