I love this drama very much ^-^ It's so funny and I first took a look at it because of one of my favourite Japanese actresses - Horikita Maki. ^^ It's wonderful to hear a review about this awesome drama! :D Every one in the drama worked so hard and did a tremendous job! xD Thank you for making this review! =)

the youngest son's name is Akira. Tomoki (not Tomoko) is the actor's name. (and "Tomoko" sounds really like a girl name to me.)

i watched the show and i can speak Japanese. im sure 100% that his name is Akira.

@animebeerandcake - You're BOTH correct. Ookura Akira 大蔵 明 is his 'acting name', where as Okoyama Tomoki 岡山智樹 is his 'real life name'. (It's Tomoki not tomoko read the Kanji: 智樹). Atashinchi no Danshi means, 'My Family Boys'. Yes I know Japanese and speak it lol. そうですよ。うそじゃないよ。お願い僕の言葉を信じてください。­正直な言葉を伝えたいから。アタシンチの男子はとっても面白いで­すねっ~。そのドラマを見るときには本当に楽しいかった。 ^^

@miradola Mark got hooked on japan since 1995, that was the first time he was in japan. i got hook on japan since 2005 I really liked alot of japanese women like morning musume, aya ueto and karina, etc. The very first drama I watched and finished was Hana no Papa (2007) I really thought that satomi ishihara was cute in the drama.

Good review. Found it rather funny when your friend quickly gave a pretty good guess at the drama asking if it would be a bishonen kind of thing. Most dramas are pretty much geared towards females and have bishonen/biseinen but that doesn't mean it's all about pretty faces. :P There's still storyline that can be enjoyed by all.

btw, atashinchi no danshi (AtaDan for short) actually means 'the boys of my house'.

atashinchi is a feminine colloqualism meaning 'my house/family' (comes from atashi no uchi) and danshi means 'guys/boys'.
