I think this game is awesome. While you can't play as Rikimaru or Ayame, you can still create your own ninja and finally do the things you've always wanted to do that you could do with the two ninjas. Although, if you miss the cool ninjas you can make your main ninja and side kick look exactly like them when dressing them up.

Aside from Ayame's twin Tantos. That's really what I miss most, I just hate that there's only one weapon to choose from. The game had alot of potential that I don't think it lived up to. The camera was great, the action was mostly great, I liked the music, I liked the japanese audio even, I liked the customization (even though I think there should've been more), I hated almost everything else about the game though.

well it all depends on the player. whenever i play any tenchu game i always play as rikimaru. i rarely play as ayame but you are right, they could have included extra weapons. but the game was really cool, that is what i think though, you are intitled to whatever you want to think.

@porkdemon More of an actual storyline. What little plot there was suffered severe disassociation. It reminded me of playing Metal Gear VR Missions, which I liked, but not what I look for in a Tenchu game. Another thing that really bothered me was that the positions of the enemies was the same in all 3 difficulties. They should've had 3 different layouts like they did in previous games. The environments were reused too often for my liking as well. It just felt like they rushed it a bit.

@Noctokage yeah, storyline was weak as, its like every 5th mission or so, theres a boss fight and a taste of storyline, the change in position would have been nice, or even more guys, something different, not exactly the same. i liked the reusing of layouts, you get familiar with a place, know good hiding places, if you can jump onto that roof over there or not. yeah did feel rushed, aw well, all we can do is wait and see if theres a next one to redeem the name of tenchu.

@porkdemon Well since this came out, there was one released for Wii. It was apparently much more like the earlier Tenchu games, but I hate Wii controls, so I didn't buy it.

Unfortenately, their are only a few sets to choose from at the start of the game. You unlock new stuff, step by step and it takes all of the 50 missions to unlock everything.

When you first start the game, you choose your starting clothes, when you first get to the ninja HQ are you able to change different pants or shirt from the character creation menu earlier right off the bat?

No, just the sword. And no, I don't think they will add weapons to the game via DLC. On a side note, I think different weapons are misplaced in a game like Tenchu.

Yes, you can change the hair color to what ever color you want. And no, you can't use the gun from the accessories. But you can take a rifle from dead guards. However, it's just good enough to kill dogs in the game.
