  • Is there a way to pass Nilfheim without using a potion in the second screen?

  • This whole thing with the music or SFX in Amiga was awful! If the game had a matching music with the whole atmosphere/graphics would be a great GEM! Still awesome game.

  • There is another game similar to this one for Amiga.

Same style with a knight carrying a blade and shield...

please send me a massage if you know the name.

  • @deadgara

    Ghouls n Ghosts?

  • @deadgara

    GODS?

  • @deadgara

    Black Lamp?

  • @deadgara Ghosts'n' Goblins?

  • David Whittaker...... .again?!

  • great amiga grande la amiga

  • I remember, when I finally beat the first boss, I couldn't get through the door, cause I was missing one key segment. It took me a very long time to realize that some where located in hidden areas... I felt so cheated by the game..

  • Amazing game! and incredibly dificult! :-)

  • Amazing game! and incredibly dificult! :-)

muchas gracias por recordarme mi juego favorito de cuando tenia13 o 14 años

uno de los primeros k jugue y para mi sin duda el mejor

  • The good old days when It took three people to make a game..

  • This game was bloody impossible, the latter levels nearly gave me a stroke when I was younger. Had to keep playing my disc copied, at times things got so bad I would take the disk out and break the bastard. Deep down there was no escaping it, so 10 years later I too emulated. But this time I got you bitch bahahahaah....save feature in STEem...ooh yeahhhhh!

  • What a crappy ending after all that hard work!

  • This was a favourite of mine on the ST, it was impossible for me to complete the last level. 10 years later I emulated it and used a cheat to finish the damn thing. Talk about closure!

  • Remember this game from the A500. Things started to get really bad in Nidavellir :-O

  • "Weird Dreams", "Kid Gloves", "Ghouls 'n Ghosts"...I hope You don't mind if I throw my hat into the pool and say, that music reminded me of "Motorhead" (the game) ;)

  • i've never played this, but it seriousely looks like a Ghouls n Ghosts clone.

  • Dawn treader

  • Wow... This used to be my favourite amiga game. I got stuck on this game at the end of the third level and could never work out how to kill the level boss. I spent AGES on it.. and no internet at the time to help me out! It has bugged me for over FIFTEEN YEARS... but I can finally see how it was done. Now I can finally be at peace. Thank you :)

  • Flick-screen scrolling. How old hat...

  • anyone noticed that some sound effects are similar to those in Weird Dreams?

  • err yeah. I can only assume that big red demon in ice was supposed to be Hel, but how was she defeated?

  • "Destruction of Hel"? I think I missed something.

  • i had forgot all about this game , used to play this quite a lot on satarday mornings. perhaps inspired by G&G a little , but the 2 cannot be compared at all , totaly differnt style of gameplay in both games.

the music was grate for the time and that sort of arangement was often heard on the amiga.

i had not played this game since the early 90s and i recognised the title music instantly.

  • a little????

  • perhaps a lot , but the game plays nothing like G&G , execpt it has a guy who jumps up and down.

    anyway both fantastic games.

  • Is a strange "version" of ghouls'n'ghost... but much more beatifull, at sounds and graphics!

  • but lacks the Classic yet Insanity Inducing Main Theme of GnG.

  • ok thats a point. the music and graphics are defnitely good. even the gameplay seems interesting with the different fireballs and hammers and stuff.

    but the storyline... ^ ^

  • great sound design..

  • Uh, the gods in Valhalla live in a big mead hall, which is made of wood.
