  • Does anyone know what films are previewed in this clip? The one with the industrial scenes and one with the aerial view of trains look interesting?

  • Amazing! Keep up the good work!

  • It went wrong during the early 1970s. Industrial strikes, political dogmas on both sides, reluctance to accept change and inceasingly disastrous social problems mainly to do with drugs, alcohol and horrible housing redevelopments. Meanwhile globalization brought about the inevitable changes in prospects and prosperity for any country where its population acquired positive, purposeful cohesion.

  • Ah yes, the 'British", didn't they invent loads of things and help win two world wars? I was born in 1954 and vaguely remember the type of people depicted in this clip. Where did they all go?

  • Love the music! Very 50's

  • Sadly we don't seem to be able to finance work like this anymore in the UK, however we do accept all and sundry into our country to enjoy its resources!

  • This could be about China today

Where did it all go wrong for us?

  • same

  • just incredible! what amazing quality. wow i wish we would go back to this era

  • Great!. I for one will be taking a trip to the Southbank for this.

    Thanks for the heads up.
