Excellent. Check out "CP Rail Killer Culvert". DFO and Ministry of Environment have ignored habitat damage for years. I think it's our collective duty to document and report all habitat violations.
One of the rare beauties fast disappearing in the west. With the destruction of our forests and the pollution of salmon breading rivers and streams this will be something out children may never witness.
I used to watch Chinook spawning in the central interior, but I understand that most of the places I went, when young have silted up and we wonder why the stocks are not coming back. Greed and short-sighted actions.
That was pretty cool!I don't know where you guys are, when I was a kid, we used to go and see the salmon run in the Adams River. I don't want to date myself, but back then the fish were so thick it looked like you could walk across the river on their backs. Nowadays we go Shuswap Falls to witness this. Sure isn't what it was, but it is still one of Nature's miracles.
