this is the REAL AMERICAN VETERANS funeral. this is what i'm always talking about...this is where the HEART of AMERICA is and always will be. did you notice the humble way these people dress and mourn? AMERICAN soldiers come from all-over but, we have one thing in common.
yes, if you look at my other videos you will see the 21 gun salute as well, i still have the roses from the flowers that were given to grandma and a shell casing from the salute. i have finished pics of his grave if you are interested complete with military service plaque. i am sad that my camera didnt have sound, it was a lovely ceremony, every year this cemetery has serveral flags that they put up on memorial day and veterans day its a small town but they charish their military service
I remember when my grandma got a flag when my grandpa died. She still has it in her living room, along with his medals that he got serving on an aircraft carrier in WWII.
cool, i think my dad made a shadow box for grandpas flag, hes pretty handy, he actually made shadow boxes and had flags flown over the capital for his classmates that were in the military, those mementos should be charished,
