@rogeryasi There's a little grey bar above your sequence (timeline). Sometimes it becomes short so you end up rendering only a fraction of the timeline. Double-click it and it will expand completely. Or, copy all the clips of the timeline into a fresh, new timeline and try again.
Hey, Thanx So much. You have been a HUGE help. I only have one small problem.
When I want to have a quick look back at my edited clip in the timeline, it is shown to be VERY jumpy in the top right video box (or watever it is called)
Is this just temporary or am I doing some thing wrong?
@ScruffyElmo There are so many factors that may cause a little jumpiness in playback including our computer speed, the types of video source material you're using, hard drive access time, etc. Jumpiness is sometimes caused by a slow hard drive, or if you have multiple streams of video going at once. I'm editing on an i7 PC with 16 GB of RAM and accelerated nvidia card using CS5. This is my new computer and it screams.
@AdrianNtart I use H.264. There's a YouTube preset. I usually use Widescreen HD if it's HD footage, or Widescreen SD for standard definition. On a PC these presets are available using CS4 or CS5. Earlier versions don't have H264 as an option. You can use Windows Media on a PC. On a Mac, not sure. Upload short 1 minute tests to YouTube as "private" until you see something that works for you. Good luck.
You can import any type of file. Premiere Pro CS4 handles AVCHD, AVI, Quicktime, DVCPRO HD, and others. In this example I used Standard Definition (avi).
my video only shows me the preview of only less than 2 secs even though i rendered the entire work area with lasts more than a minute
what can i do? :C

I EDIT VIDEOS ON 'PREMIER PRO', WHAT ARE THE BEST SETTING FOR YOUTUBE?
I USE SETTINGS DVPAL1 AND SAVE AS QUICKTIME, COMPRESSION MPEG4
WHEN I PLACE THE VID ON THE DVPAL SCREEN I NOTICE IT ALREADY LOOSES QUALITY :s
THE EXPORTED FILE WILL BE ENOURMOUS! SO I USUALLY SAVE QUALITY 50% TO BRING IT DOWN TO A REASONALBE SIZE THAT DOESNT TAKE 7HRS TO UPLOAD.
