Those eagles are well known as Tonbi in Japan, they are crow size small raptor. And I think they are seldom attack big animal like dogs, they simply want to get food which can be obtained very easily.
Look at those hawks, they are HUGE, 3 of them could gang up little GORO and have lunch..... c'mon, folks, get real,:those are birds of prey , not PIGEONS around a too patient little dog, a disaster is about to happen if those hawks decided to attack that poor dog.
I have seen eagles teaming up to catch a huge fox, if those hawks want, they could harm little GORO, they are birds of prey, they are not pigeons. I don't think there is need to take risks with lovely GORO: he's a treasure, so calm and peaceful and loving, an extraordinary dog.
Again, the size of eagles and Black Kites do differ quite a lot. They are both birds of prey - yes. But black kites are smaller than most kites you'll find and they mostly prey on quite a small prey, like insects and fish. The strength of their legs are quite weak so it's not quite possible, in my opinion, for them to grap hold of a corgi that size and lift it up into the air... unless it's... well...
I bet you'd not go nearby those hawks, right ? would you be cool having those hawks, birds of prey, landing around you ?, lol, you'd lie if your answer is yes. Well, look at GORO: does he look happy ? he doesn't. Calm ? hmmmm, I'd say he is afraid, anxious, but there is not way he can go away. No, it's not fair to do this to him for the sake of making this video.
If you did read my comment carefully, I was merely pointing out that they are called Black Kites and what are their usual prey and how they usually live in urban areas. I wasn't debating with you or even joking about things that might or might not happen. If you wish to talk to someone out of boredom, you should go find a friend instead. =]
I don't think a Hawk can harm a Dog on the contrary a Hawk has lot to fear from dogs. It's another thing that GORO is a very calm n peace loving soul.
hawks have been known to attack and cause serious damage to dogs. some have even swooped up dogs under six pounds. but dogs are also known to attack hawks.
I don't think Goro is really in danger here. Obviously if the hawks wanted to attack it would have done it long ago. Didn't you see people walking around? It must had been normal for those hawks to see people around then? Oh and I think that the owner of Goro love him more than you think. You should see other videos. Goro has always been treated well and healthy even better than most of the owners. Obviously he must love Goro a lot. You can't judge him based on just this one video.
It's IRRESPONSIBLE to put GORO's LIFE AT RISK leaving him a around those DANGEROUS birds of prey, letting those vultures to get near him for the sake of making a video. If you love GORO, do NOT put his dear life in danger, please.
The food of Black Kites, not vultures, are usually fish and dead animals like mice and rats. If they live close to human settlements, on occasion, they'll scavenge food as well.

well, not that he should let Goro go near those hawks but I'm pretty sure he has already make sure that it would be safe for Goro.
