Along with this they will start adding armor to the exoskeleton because once more the soldier has a higher payload, before you know it they will enviromentally seal it and give it nuclear, biological, and chemical protection, and thus we have the birth of power armor.

The difference here is the private sector is developing the HAL-5 with peace time considerations and the US military is designing their exoskeleton with less than peaceful considerations at their for front.

Maybe they could work along with the Trojan suit project?
