As good a performance as Emma gives here, going through with the original Cruciatus scene from the book probably would have been too "disturbing" for audiences. The only time they used it in the movies was ironically when Harry cursed Bellatrix after killing Sirius, and she acted like she barely felt it. xD Though that was likely because Harry is too good a person to cast a true Cruciatus curse.
