@mikebarter387 hey don't get me wrong, thought the video was well done, but man I wish you right about the college kid, unfortunately those days are LONG gone :(
I think I did see some at one time? I guess the only real advantage would be weight saving. Fist size hexcentrics and such. My guess is that they are fine if someone was to go through the trouble of marketing, design, etc.. I am with you though and most likely will not be getting any soon. Have to wonder how well they seat. Somebody send me a couple and I could have a more informed opinion.
@AUGRE12345 . i have polymer nuts. in fact ive used them upto e7( british trad climbing) . they actually absorb more shock than metal ones which is a plus. and the main reason i have them is for placements like really fragile flakes and cracks where i dont want to damage the rock.
its called a quick draw not a runner.

I may just be tripping, but does anyone else see the face in the bottom rock?

".... constricts towards .. the bottom and maybe out towards the front of the crack"

Have you ever seen Polymer Nuts, I saw some, But I dont know if I could trust them. They had metal wire, But the actual nut was made of polymer.

I would have to think that, Even with High strength polymer, They could grind and scrape In the crack, And possibly lose their hold.

@mikebarter387 They work fine alright, but if they take a big fall, best of luck trying to get them out!
