  • Nice to see a stop motion that doesn't take place on the kitchen floor....

  • watch?v=6cKfjqwiqt0&feature=watch_response

  • this coolest stop motion gundam animation i've ever seen!! how did you do your green screen for all the cool backgrounds

  • @MJ85D ,Thank you.Actually, there's no green screen at all here. As for the backgrounds, They are either hand made (Hangar scenes), Photos of real places, or generated outer space backgrounds in Adobe After effects. The Stop motioned Mobile Suits are cut out in Photoshop,(Very Time Consuming) Placed in Layers, saved, and imported in After effects as Layers, then manipulated/Animated. This whole project was just an experiment to learn After Effects as I go.

  • Damn! my imagination is streaming down on me as if that video is really true! ahahahaha.......and i'm one of the pioneering gundam pilots!!!

  • Not perfect, but better than that movie G Savior.

  • does a zgok shoot electricity?

  • nice!! too bad got no subtitle.. he he

  • This is actually REALLY Good.

  • nice old school touch!!!

  • im sorry but it just looks like crappy robot chicken

  • fricken sick vid this is amazing

  • can u also give me the sound clip for the lasers? thnx.

  • AWESOME! perfect! can u give me the sound clips at the beginning?

  • can you please send me the sound clip, i love gundam

  • @HaruteX ,Sorry,I can not do that. Just search the Net for the Char's Counterattack OST or BGM. Be Careful downloading/Sharing stuff now. Some very sinister, evil people are right now tracking and storing our movements on the net. The download of Copyrighted material "NOW",can be risky. Something bad is gonna go down soon with the Web. When it's restored,It will no longer be the same,Free speech Internet. HaruteX, If you don't believe me check out infowars.c*m read the stories on there. Peace.

  • @Gorgo ok, thanks

  • what's the name of the music you used in the vid?

  • @pepengkaliwete Track 4 on the Gundam Chars Counterattack OST.

The Song is called : Segment III Sally. This part of the song starts at 1:03.

Hope this helps. It's a good overall OST/BGM

  • @Gorgo Thanks a lot. =)

  • what's the name of the music in the start

  • what's the name of the music?

  • How long did it take to make this ?

  • @WoodBlock707 ,a month or two. At the time,I was learning new programs at the time. I would have done a few things different had I done it recently.

  • I like how you know about the NWO, and casually throw it into a youtube comment.

So unfortunate that people go about their life without a clue about it.

Incorporate your work into slander on the reptilians, illuminati, freemasons or black pope! That way you do what you love, but people get aware. I don't know, be creative and funny and informational at the same time.

  • @SkaPow138 ,Thanks, although I hadn't commented anything on Reptilians or Black Pope. I did do a Alex Jones "Bad Man Rant" short. I honestly hadn't had time or will to animate anything in quite some time. The Answer to 1984 is 1776 !!

  • nice work dude, great job..

  • lol at the guy at then end

  • LOL at 1:01 that GOK shoots lighting wtf lol

  • @Gundam0083kill ,yeah, I know. It was earlier, test shots. Yes, it sucks.

I could do a lot better now a days but I just don't care anymore about creating any more stop motions since it's not going to get me a better job or stop the NWO.

  • great job but found it odd and funny you had star wars sound effects other than that nicely done!!!1

  • すごい!!

    よく作ったなあ

  • Mate, what software did you use? I want to make one as well.

  • @taichischolar ,I use a Mac. Photoshop,Imovie,Adobe After Effects.

  • lol kinda entertaining

  • amazing job dude

  • EZ8!!!!!

  • that guy really hard work...

    it seem petty cool..

  • Wow. Really takes me back. A lot of work put in this video for sure. Great job!

  • kinda slow but good ,rated 5 stars

  • i would expect this from robot chicken cause its good

  • wow!!! i think that was hard work.. pity there is no storyline but nice vid

  • real good

  • Awesome animation

  • good job, 5 stars but need more frames

  • Thanks, That was an old one.

The last animations I did had more frames.

I'm done doing them. More serious things have come up. Learning all there is to know about the New World Order and what I can do to help stop it!!

  • good luck man. you cant do that alone thou.

  • lmfao. I hear stop motion robot movies scare those NWO commies.

  • hey Gorgo, interestingly enough have you ever seen a movie called ROBOT JOX?

(ok its horrible... but its nice because I think it is the first full length Made-in-America Mecha-Giant robot movie (1990) from Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator) its very low budget but its a fun popcorn flick to watch.

  • @digitalmckracken ,yes, I remember ROBOT JOX and the other film from around the same time (Crash and Burn). Those flicks remind me of G-Gundam with how countries fight their Mechs in a arena rather than go to war. Even worse live action gundam was G-Saviour.

  • i havent seen Crash and Burn (I remember seein the video box but that was as far as i got with that one haha..the clips i saw for G-Saviour at the Comic-Con looked very cool but i could tell it had a thin if no plot at all... which sucks. I had high hopes for that one.

some of my demo reels feature a giant battle mecha that I designed... i actually made mine walk on a treadmill too...

  • @Gorgo make more gundam stop motions to stop the nwo!

  • @MegaSaki00 , Ha, is that supposed to be funny? I'm done animating for now.

There's too much at stake to dwell on make believe. Making more Gundam stop motion isn't going to stop the Globalists and their NWO. Absorbing as much on the subject and sharing with people might thwart their plans.

  • @Gorgo I thought it was pretty funny actually ^_^ Not still dwelling on make believe eh? I've been waiting for the rfid act to pass, HR 1955, the Amero to go into effect.. none of it has happened... I don't see any immediate threats so a little gundam stop motion wont hurt ya

  • cool effects

  • oh finally, some panel lines on stop motions =D

  • lol,Thanks, This is why I was going for a Hobby Japan Magazine in stop motion.

  • Haha looks like robot chicken awesome.

  • 2:15 of this video dude, watch it :p

  • So,I put my name. So what? Or are you referring to the Kit-bashed Gundam head?

  • yeap .. I was referring to your kit-bashed Gundam head .. and it looks unique :)

  • funbny, awesome, and i bet you really put some effort into it :P

  • i like how the pilots are todays pilots (4 air planes) funny

  • nice work

  • GOOD STUFF.

  • sally from chars counter attack the song

  • this is awsome and cool Ez-8 model

  • This is good stuff, considering you did this on your own! The music and sound effects give the feel of being in the show.

  • Needs more frames, then it will be perfect, bro!

  • Oh and great job even if it is old!

  • This may sound stupid but where and/or how do you get so many sound effects?! also how many frames total did you use for this?!

  • I collected the sounds over the years.Certain scenes in an anime when there's no music but a clean sound effect.(old anime are best for samples)

    Gundam,Gatchaman,raideen,any old mecha animes.

I used to put a micro phone near the speaker but now I'll just export a video file "sound only".

    It's better quality.

I'm not sure how many frames. As many as I was able to use at the time I guess.More frames smoother movement. thanks!

  • wao, lol good!

  • how you get adobe on mac? im trying right now, but can you tell me?

  • Adobe? What do you mean? After Effects? Photoshop? both? Buy a copy online. Download a copy from a torrent site.(may not be a good idea)

I was lucky enough to have a friend that was a mac guro and gave me some cool programs with FX plug-ins. This short is way out of date. My most recent is the Golion short. This short was early clips I threw together while learning the program After effects.

  • cool

  • Superbbbb......

    Hail to Zeon.

  • waht kind of video editor u use?

  • I use a Mac. So,I used Imovie for video and audio editing and Adobe After Effects to add Special Effects.

  • are you fucking retarded? you have to be joking right?

  • GTFO

  • Good work, tell me how could I start to make this kind of clip, what would be good software to use for beginner, thanks in advance.

  • Macintosh:Adobe Photoshop,Adobe After Effects, imovie "for adding sfx and video editing".

After effects is great but takes some experimenting and messing around to learn.

You could just use Photoshop and Imovie.

But that'll take a real long time and it's certainly not as smooth.

  • lmao! lightsaber sound near the end

  • They've used that sound on various Gundams when it had a beam saber. Not every time, but I have heard

in Chars counterattack and Zeta Gundam. The concept of the "light saber" came from anime or Manga. Lucas spent time in Japan before writing the original Star Wars. They borrowed from each other.

  • すごっw

  • ありがとうございました

  • wow, 5 stars, and a favorite... i think if you did like 10 fps, you would have one hell of a kick ass video man

  • Dude This is the best ive as seen in stop motion....you relly got talente for this...congratulations

  • Just perfect

  • Great stuff! loved the Zaku cockpit scenes!

Wish the Gundam appeared more though.

  • very nice work

  • how did you do the mouths on the gi joes?

    please share.

  • Photoshop layers... I copied the lips and altered them into several layers. about 7 or 8 different mouths. Drawing teeth and expressions with Photoshop. Animating and audio timing was likely adobe after effects.

  • choppy, but great

  • Who cares if its stop motion man, it kicks ass!! 5/5 man awsome video made, got some good sounds and cockpit detail great stuff !! cant wait to see more ^^

  • Not bad. All I can say is that it does a better job of portraying the gundam universe than G-Saviour.

  • Thanks,Yeah,no doubt. G-Saviour was really bad.

The worst actors ever in a Live action anime based film. Did you notice they reused costumes from

Starship troopers? The best Gundam I have seen recently that comes closest to Live action is the Gundam Igloo miniseries. It's off the hook awesome!

  • Yeah, I've seen the MS Igloo eps. The character design is a bit off, but the MS animation is cool in places and the story does an interesting take on Zeon during the One Year War.

  • I wish some film maker made a stop motion Gundam fight with special effects and everything. That would make me cry with joy. If they did it like the new movie Coraline, that would be fucking sick off the chain insane!

  • Have you seen Gundam Igloo? If not,do so!! It rocks!!

  • AWESOME

  • Lol this is like the old godzilla videos

  • well the video was cool. and thats the most part

  • um way terrific effects. just horrible stopmotion. it wasn't very smooth at all

  • yeah,I know the SM isn't to good. Most of it was mixed together, experimenting with new software and trying to figure it out.

  • the 1st gundam is 08team then f91 ma

  • badass

  • Only thing I noticed off was you put a Zaku 3 in it o.o any particular reason why?

  • It's still within U.C. tech.

Yeah, timeline is off. That part was actually one of my first clips. This is just a remix of experiments with our Gundams & sets using various software. Wasn't going for anything like a story. Wanted to see what I could do with Adobe After Effects Plugins,Photo Shop, and imovie. When we started back in 2000 we wanted to do an Digital Hobby Japan/Dengeki Hobby magazine featuring new Macross,Gundam,Votoms, and over all Mecha. Our studio closed in 2007. These were just fun

  • SIEG ZEON!

  • You could get a couple of friends to do the cockpit scenes.

  • so what song is this?

  • Theme music from Gundam: Chars Counterattack.

What's with the other comment? "movie critics don't have to be movie directors themselves." What's that supposed to mean?

  • "O.K. you are entitled to your own opinion....it's not my best work...I'll give you that. But I have to ask you this: How much stop motion have you done?"

movie critics don't have to be movie directors themselves.

  • NJ Gorgo, i liked the mixture of macross and gundam sfx . the music was very authentic made me think i was looking at a bandai commercial lol

  • Awesome animation. I wish there would be a Gundam series made-up of stop-motion. That would be fucking sick.

  • Even better, there is a CGI series Igloo. Very similar to the Starship Troopers CGI series Roughnecks but even better.

Follows the Zeon side of the One Year War. A lot of cool experimental weapons.

  • good keep it up.

  • wow awesome vid man! 10/10! btw r those little human models from ultra man?

  • greeeaaatttt vid, plz make more, even if yor m8 is gone keep going, this is worth medals XD

  • this is better than gundam 0079 animation..

  • sht, i jus sht my pants cuz of how good this video is. if u will excuse me i gota wash my ass n my pants

  • this is DAMNED good!! SFX and music are on point!! camera shake in the cockpit...great work man!

  • Hey thanks. I've been collecting various mecha SFX for a while now. I think it's important to have authentic sounds if the subject is anime mecha. The shake effect was just an imovie plugin. Half was shot with just adobe photoshop & imovie. It took to long & was choppy (Zaku's in space) so the other half was done with Photoshop,After effects,& imovie.

  • wow good job! :D

  • kep up the good work man i liked how you painted

the zaku's next use a gouf.

  • We, (my former roommate & I) had a Gouf and planned to use it in a short city scene with the EZ-8 but many changes happened in the past 2 years. Moved,no more studio,no more combined Mecha collection. We were literally the Mecha & sci-fi Museum of Pittsburgh,Pa. It lasted from 1996-2007. Those were fun times. We move on. But thank you for the nice comment.

  • I've just started my own stop-motion project. That is to say, I at least bought and built one model and made a quick stop-motion film of him raising and lowering his beam rifle. Unfortunetally, some of the images are blurry and I need both more models as well as better lighting and a tripod.

    Which all equals "Money".

  • Yeah, it can be an expensive hobby. As long as you enjoy doing it and having fun. Outside light is good but not for long scenes.

Yeah, a tripod is helpful too. I'm looking into croma key paper for background. It's tuff to do it right. makes edges fuzzy if not right lighting & color paper.

  • How did you get the gundam rigs?????

  • Please rephrase question... Rigs? Do you mean the Zeon tanks?

    The hangar?

  • Yes the hangar for the gundams in the bigining.

  • It was a large kit bash I did. I used alot a parts of found objects. The Rig moving the EZ-8's arm into place is actually part of a window shade that I cut up. It had kind of a track that I painted yellow. The thing the Gundam is locked into is part of a X-files toy I cut up for parts. I hope this helps.

Those were fun sets to build. I re-used a portion of that set for my Gatchaman short.

  • even thought ppl say u can do better than this, i still say OMFG THIS SO FUKING AWSOME I LUV IT. seriously, i can never do stuffs like this great job

  • I've seen better, but this is pretty awesome still.

  • I've done better... this is a few years old. Check out some of my newer stuff. I admit this could be better.

  • Cool, I should remember to do so.

  • This is really great work it has inspired me to make a stop motion movie. Great work.

  • ME TOO!

  • That was great. How did you make it so good?

  • it took alot of time and experimenting with different programs. Thank you.

  • Which programs?

  • Adobe Photoshop, After Effects,& imovie.

Some of it was just Photoshop & imovie (took alot longer & wasn't as smooth) After effects makes to better. Hint:

make stop motion frames into layers in 1 photoshop file.

Import into After Effects as layers rather than footage.

Then you can manipulate the layers how you want.

  • this is awsome!

  • it like the Star trek trailer at the intro

  • Star Wars is officially BEAT!!

  • very cool

  • that was really cool

  • dude, this is awesome!

  • Wait was that a Zaku 3? That wuold completely own the RX 78

  • Yeah, I know...this is just a mix of a bunch of different clips I've done through the years."old stuff" I could do better than this nowadays...just no time.

  • oh, ok.

  • Pretty good.

  • badass! i hope that someone it hollywood hires you!!!

  • This is good enough to replace the old thunderbirds :P

  • hey man that was great, forget the losers dissing you, they anit got nothing better to do, but search youtube and leave crap comments, this was nicely done I love mecha stuff and Gundam.

  • Great effort! I'm a big UC Gundam fan myself, and I can tell you put a lot of work into this.

  • check outmy last video XD

  • dude that was awsome work. nice job!

  • worst stop motion ever

  • O.K. you are entitled to your own opinion....it's not my best work...I'll give you that. But I have to ask you this: How much stop motion have you done?

  • nice dude

  • SIIICCKKK!

  • not too many stop motions of this caliber. choppy yes. but much effort into scenes and bgs and other stuff apart from the mechs themselves. Man I had the kits you had my movies would be drastically different.

  • lol thats some mad funny shit

  • please, describe to me.... what's mad funny about it. When I think of funny...I think robot chicken..That wasn't my point...Have you ever picked up a Hobby Japan magazine?

  • a bit choppy, but its a very good attempt

  • amazing

  • The space battle was the best of the animations...but overall, it's awesome

  • That was Gundamastic...lol... Stop Motioawesome.

Really cool man. 5 Stars from me.

  • OMG your modelling skills are pro! Honestly, can you teach me on some intermediate techniques like weathering?

  • Markers work well ...(Micron felt tip) Acrylic paint Black,Dark brown...

Coat area you want to weather ...then dab/wipe off paint or marker with damp paper towl. The detail will then sorta pop out...

  • Marker with a fine tip...test on a piece of scrap plastic to make sure it can be rubbed off alittle..also washes with acrylic paint watered down alittle...

coat an entire surface area then wipe it or dab it off to get desired effects

    like burns,oil,rust..ect.. hope this helps

  • kitbashing is fun

  • It's awesome.
