there hair for 4 months. Some Hair Textures can

start to Matt and dread up. I say 2 to 2 1/2 months

with proper care would be my max.

I've been to 5 or 6 and haven't been able to find any. I don't have a problem ordering it online, but it would be nice to be able to go to a local store and get the hair. Have you been able to find the hair in any local stores?

I see how you started with the braid and you did a one time twist and then continued twisting down...Can I just start off with a braid and then go into the twist without doing the what you did? I hope I explained it correctly.

twist the opposite way...

If you are twist left over right do the opposite

right over left. Make sure you are twisting the twist

tight also. You dont have to do it the way you do kinky

twist just twist it like you were twisting a little girls

ponytails. That should help :-))

How is this different from kinky twist from hair all the way down to method? Also what is the difference between kinky, nubian, fluffy,spring, city, and urban twist? Im confused with all these type twists.

The diffence between all of them is the hair you use. the length and the thickness

of each twist. And sometimes diffrent States has a diffrent name for some twist but the look

is the same. Hope that helps :-))

perfect parts. But around the hairline dont

use little pieces of your natural hair in the twist

b/c you dont want yout hair line to get broken off.

you can either next time make sure you put some kind of product

on the ends of your hair or just make sure you twist alot tighter where

the end of the natural hair is. if that makes since:-)

yes they dont have to be even. When you make your

parts perfect it dont look as good. Again do the brick layer

effect make sure you fill in all gaps.

With your hair being thin at the top I would make

sure I make the parts bigger. B/c all that

stress from the twist can take your hair fall out really bad.

I really tell people that has thining hair at the top they really

dont need to get braids or twist b/c that is

to much stress on the hair if it is already thining.

Kinky twist is usally longer and it looks more like locs...

I thank you for your videos.. I am going to try some on my daughter... I also went to an African Salon and was very disappointed when I left. The lady was suppose to do some human hair braids but instead she put some cheap hair in my head that wasn't even worth the money she charged me for it.... Her work was good but her quality of hair sucked and overall this made my experience horrible.... I will never go back to her not even with my own hair...

I got my twists done at an African braiding salon and I went back and asked why the hair was still shedding and she told me that the Nafy hair sheds alot...if I woulda known that, I would have brought my own hair or went to another salon! This is my first time gettin Nubian twists and the style is versatile but bc of the shedding, I won't have these in long!! Imma try to keep them in for 30 days...I love the way they look on u...wish mine look like yours...lol

Thank you. The hair I got though wasnt nafy hair. Diffrent hair gives you diffrent

results. The hair I have is called Nubi Nubi. It is by Eonhair.com. I have never had shedding with any twist style I get. Maybe try to spray some holding hair

spray on your hair. Maybe that might work..I like the brand tresseme.

the best thing to do is make sure you twist really tight when you are near the end of your

natural hair. Another good thing is put some gel on the very ends of your hair

or what ever product you use to make your natural hair blend in with the weave.

Hi luv the hairstyle, I am transitioning and need a protective hair style. I luv the way the models hair looks on the Eon hair Nubi, Nubi package. I'm prob going 2 do this stlye.

I have long thin permed hair(down my bra strap in the back) w/about 2" on new growth. Do you think I can get away with 3 pcks of hair, and do you think I can rinse my graying roots with the hair in? I will rinse it b4 twisting but my hair grows in fast n will need a 2 week touch-up.

too be on the safe side I would by 4 packs bc the model hair is long so it

takes more packs of hair b/c you wont cut the hair in half. I wouldnt see why

i just finished my first set of Nubian Twists and I'm not very happy with the results. I noticed that after I finished the braid and began to twist , the hair was twisting from the root. can you tell me what i could possibly have been doing wrong?

not really for sure without you showing me your technque.

If it was twisting from the root that should be ok . B/c some people

do there twist starting off with a twist. You dont have to only do it starting

as a braid. How did the twists come out looking? As long as they are

cute & attached to the root that is all that matter

makes them diffrent.

This was a good video. So, after braiding - when you are beginning to twist - you turn each section a few times before twisting? Then after you turn each section you just regular twist? (Sorry just want to make sure.)

Could you use the extensions that are used for kinky twists or does it have to be the type you used?

yep you got it right that is the method. You want to twist both strands

before doing the actual twist. Now for kinky twist I like to use

the Marley Braiding Hair. I like the Brand Femi best...
