I just found an old vhs tape that had this games name on it since I recorded some of the bosses from way back. I totally forgot the name of this game until I found the vhs I made =p I remember this being a great game.

Graphics ain't the best but, its a pretty good game with a decent story.

I forgot the name of this game but I remembered the box art, it took me roughly 3 hours to find its name. Thank goodness I did, because I really loved this game!

This game easily became my favorite of all time. I beat it at least 4 times trying to figure out the game's true ending. I think it's killing the pirate lady in order to reset time.

Playing through this, I find it to be one of the few games with cutscenes crazier than its Navgtr review. "Where else can you accidentally meet a girl in the shower and get away with it" can't compare to "Blood is the blade's language."

i remeber renting this over a weekend after i had first gotten into rpgs and completeing it. loved it at the time. i recently bought it and tried playing it graphics dont bother me and the story is still good but the controlls are awfull compared to todays standards. i doubt ill ever play though the entire game again due to the controlls

lots people have told me this game is not that good at all. But I'm still interested. Is it really as bad as people say??  I like games like Illusion of Gaia and Soul Blazer. Is this game like those?

@gyromancy2 This game was very fun for me and I recently played it again and I still liked it. The only problem is that by todays standard, it is a bit crude. It is similar to Terranigma and illusuion of gaia, but it is not quite the same. The graphics are a bit outdated, but if you can look past that I'd recommend giving it a try. This really is not a bad game, just a bit crude.

Omg i missed this game. I remember when i was younger, i played this all the time, but i could never finish it. then one day, i got so mad at not being able to finish it, i threw it against the wall, and it cracked. xP Oh well

why would you have to ^^ the internet is your friend, and many roms are legal to download ... just get an emulator, plugins and the psx biosfiles. there are plenty of sites hosting everything up to ps2.

ps: i did love this game too, back then it was with the very first rpg's who did the step more or less into 3d ^^

Dude.... I loved this game, back in the day. I remember I got it over the summer, and I played it all day and night in my room, with the only light coming from the TV Screen... When I finally beat it and walked out of my room, the light gave me one of the worst headaches of my life!

When I played that game I had a major corruption with it that I couldn't read the subtitles and the background was very distorted and different colors. That is a good game.
