  • that will last a month

  • lies - all that jabber about how rex caught the squirrel is just to get around "animal abuse"

  • Reptilian superiority!!

  • How was he fast enough to get it that's so epic! Good for him xD

  • Boy did that thing ever pick the wrong house!

  • Is rex a tegu???

  • @joeyakaiceman read the description retard

  • Did the squirrel bite his nose or something?

  • now that he has a taste for blood, he cant be stopped

  • "you got to put him in the sun....he's got to warm up to eat him"

*picks gator up and puts him in the shade next to the sun* -.-

  • haha he has a bloody mouth

  • rex wont be hungry for a while.... good monitor

  • Did you record this with a potato ?

  • The Monitor couldnt of caught a disease cause theyre cold blooded. and that squireel is warm blooded

  • Good job rex you got the squirrel! Fucking mongs!

  • Monitors are bloody awesome. I had a Nile monitor and she was extremely bitchy. She had talons like a hawk and a long tail she would use like a whip.

  • Put him in the sun. So he puts him in the shade. WTF??

  • @TheChevelleKid lol i know right?

  • Holy SHIT

  • love it man hope he eats all the squirrels around your home sorry dont like squirrels they are damaging rodents

  • @oddstriker And humans arent?

  • "you gotta put him in the sun!"

    *puts him shade beside sun*

  • that was awesome it got free lunch lol

  • Just so you guys know the chances of the monitor getting a disease from the squirrel is next to zero because the monitor is cold blooded and the squirrel is a warm blooded animal. If you guys paid attention in science class when you were a kid you would know that.

  • @DeathlordSlavik I love you.

  • @DeathlordSlavik What about parasites? Pesticides the squirrel had ingested? May not affect the squirrel much, but can easily harm the reptile.

  • @DeathlordSlavik i didnt even get that taught to me in science class u must of been in a pretty high tech school ;D

  • @DeathlordSlavik Their are parasites and mites though, not worth the risk at all.

  • thats tight! hope the animal wasnt diseased..can reptiles get rabbies are ne thing like that?

  • I wouldn't trust that squirrel to be sound. It might have been easy to catch because it was full of warfarin or something.

  • Holy crap calm down. As the guy said in the video the squirrel got in the house and the pet caught it before they knew what was happening. Its not like he fed it to the thing. BTW bro those things can do real damage there's know way I would put my hands near its mouth to get the prey out either. FUCK THAT!

  • As Homer Simpson once said:

    "Take that you dumb squirrel."

Good job Rex. Eat that stupid tree rat.

  • never feed captive animals wild food. its dangerous. feed it captive squirrels

  • @chesleycareystar read description, but he shouldve tried to take it away, it could get nasty diseases

  • lol

  • LOL!! Thumbs up!

  • How the hell could that fit?

  • GO! REX! GO!

  • FUCK REX!

  • lol you got2 put him in the sun dude. ok dude ill put him in this shadey part of the sun. brains

  • There is a difference between capturing a wild animal and feeding it and having ur monitor just catch it.

  • @reptifreak99 word exactly

  • old fat ass

  • "Put him in the sun!"

And then he puts him in the shade.

  • That's pretty bad ass! even though I do love Squirrels (they also make great pets). My savvy Draka is way to chill to accomplish a feat like that cause shes been spoiled on live rat pups and raw chicken her whole life. Although, she did escape twice through a window, and she survived outside for 2 months each time before I found her so who knows...

  • Dude that's tight my monitor used to hunt small lizards in my backyard but he wasnt that fast to catch a squirrel

  • Savannah monitors have potent stomach acid that can break down and destroy just about everything that goes down into their digestive system. As it has been said, most of the parasites and diseases that mammals carry, cannot be passed on to reptiles, except for some types of worms and ticks.

  • My Dad has a buddy who shoots squirrels in his backyard. I bet he would love having this guy as a pet.

  • well, rex caught a fucking squirrel , dont wanna get too close to his prey. lmaoooooo

  • "we need to put him in the sun so he can eat it"

    Puts him in the shade.

    Logic.

  • groudon ate pachirisu

  • why would u let ur monitor eat a wild squirrel...tht squirrel could of been carryin any type of disease...smh

  • @camarokidchallenger most disease that mammals carry reptiles can not it might have something to do with being cold blooded or what ever but i'm not 100% on why

  • @87fattie22

I think parasites are still a concern?

    worms etc.

  • @TJGuitarVids not the worms even the hook worm from dogs and cats can only grow to maturity in them and stay in a larval form in other animals till the body's natural defenses create a cyst and dissolve it but you are correct about others like ticks and a select few mites. they are not going to transmit any harmful illnesses for the before statement still stands and topical parasites are easily taken care of (not to defend him but i thought you might like to know)

  • @87fattie22 yea thts true and all but u still need to worry about it gettin worms..mites..and ticks all of them carry diseases that can kill your monitor...see wat im saying

  • @camarokidchallenger worms do not Cary disease ticks only carry lime and that only affects mammals and mites well guess what they also do not carry diseases but cause conditions like a rash unless this lizard is allergic to the saliva of the tick or mite you are fine. by the by not only did i previously address the whole disease thing this is my last reply because it is becoming clear you just want to believe what ever.

  • @87fattie22 smh every and anythin can carry diseases but ok then

  • @camarokidchallenger OR PESTACIDE

  • @camarokidchallenger he caught the Squirrel not given it so its not his fault, and its kinda impossible to take something from a Monitors mouth when there hungary....

  • @xYarvelx -____- but he video taped it......i under stand how hard it is...i have three but i would think a million times before i let my monitor eat a wild sqiurrel

  • @camarokidchallenger at the end of the day theres nothing else u can realy do- its quite rare and amazing to see something like this and im sure they understood the dangers

  • @camarokidchallenger true squirrels carry parasites that will end your monitors life

  • @camarokidchallenger Cold Blooded reptiles are not effect by Warm Blooded diseases. I have been bitten by 100s of wild reptiles (Lizards, Garden Snakes, etc). They can get rabies but that's very very rare.

  • @camarokidchallenger

To further why that is scientifically incorrect... A virus in a warm-blooded species relies on homeostasis. Therefore a constant temperature, pH, etc. Even a 5 degree difference or 1 pH difference can heavily impact the functionality of a virus. Therefore it is likely that a virus adapted to a warm-blooded animal would have little to no functionality in a cold-blooded species and the same in the reverse order.

  • @camarokidchallenger idiot lmao

  • @camarokidchallenger what do you think they do in the wild..

make sure they shit they kill is disinfected?

    nub

  • @camarokidchallenger

Whatever disease the squirrel has would probably have no effect on the lizard. If you have any criticism it would be letting a lizard tangle with a squirrel that could gauge out its eyes or somtin.

  • @camarokidchallenger The monitor is a wild animal too you dumbass its just stuck in a cage. You think animals in the wild are worried about catching diseases. NO! its just following its instinct

  • languidge

  • "Not everything you can kill with your powerfull jaws can be eaten by you" hope you learned something little creature

  • Yall know that savannahs can eat just about anything hell one of their main diets in the wild are scorpions

  • Obviously if he chose to eat the squirel ....Thennnnn he can eat it duhhhh

  • Stupid video... allowing that sav to eat a squirrel, retards with a sav is all I see.

  • Well the person with the comment below me must be one of the biggest losers on earth huh? Wants to hurt animals. Very cool bud...

  • Comment removed

  • @jpbludeau id love to stomp your fucking head in. pussy

  • Comment removed

  • @jpbludeau dont know how your going to do that when your lying on the floor in a pool of your own blood and piss with smashed in knees and elbows

  • @gimiausername Go have sex with jesus christ like Hank the angry dwarf says.

  • @jpbludeau that just proves how fucking stupid you are you dog fingerer.

  • @jpbludeau your just a hypocrite wanting attention even if its arguments online. this is more than likely a "feeder mouse" which means they a bread to be eaten just like the pig or cow that had to die for your dinner

  • @jpbludeau Someones on their period.

  • @jpbludeau I would like to see you TRY to kill any of my lizards i would kill you and feed you piece by piece to my monitors and tegus

  • @TheBoostDoctor Should probably see a psychiatrist if you'd kill someone over killing a lizard.

  • @Fleefles Lol don't worry about it, there's 6 billion more people in the world, i'd be more concerned about the lizards then with humans they're nowhere near extinction.

  • my dog cant even catch a squirrel lol

  • oh nooooo its ALVINNNN... lol

  • DUDE?!!! WTF HAPPENED TO ITS BACK! ITS LIKE BURNED REAL BAD

  • @narutofroever Yea, he had an accident like 6 weeks b4 the vid was shot. He recovered fully

  • What type of toaster are you using

  • My lizard is called rexy :') xx

  • damn i wish you had filmed him actually catching it that would be awesome

  • people need to realize that if the animal was too big , then the lizard , wouldnt eat it , there not stupid ?

  • nice one rex.

  • oh look rex has lipsti-... oh wait... lol

  • i dont like squirels anyway. they have diseases. ras with fluffy tails. no offence to squirrel lovers out there (;

  • Holy shit , someone get me my pokeball QUICK!!

  • @r00st3r100 What's a "pokeball"?

  • @Shmuck60 a pokeball.. refers to a item that captures, and houses fantasy creatures from a childrens show called poke`mon.

  • @RadioactivePiggy Thanks for the reply/info.

  • nul

  • The exterminator can go to hell. If you have rat problems there is no need to fear, for Rex is here!!!!!

  • PRESS 4 THE 3 SHIT YEA

  • i like the start well rex has got a fucking squirrels

  • How fuckin harass

  • alright thats prolly the coolest lizard on the face of this earth..

  • 1) Rex caught the squirrel on his own, it was not pre-killed or fed to him.

    2) Not to take credit away from Rex, but this was catching a squirrel his owners were chasing around the house without luck 'till the rodent ran past a giant lizards face. He basically opened his mouth, not much of a chase.

    3) The squirrel was quickly taken away and the lizard never got sick.

    4) The "rednecks" (lol) you speak of are all highly educated, living in a large city. (Not the standard version of redneck)

  • Does rabies Effect Reptiles? imagine if it did...

  • That's insanely impressive... And to all the crybaby pussies, the guy says "caught" like six fuckin times. Stop actin like he tore a mother squirrel away from her litter to feed to his reptile. The monitor caught it himself... Predator.... Prey.... Nature.... Get over it...

  • duh hyuk lets feed im one of dem tree marmots

these people have no right to keep this lizard as a pet.

  • that squirrel got fuckin pwnd

  • @SnakesAndGuitars What is "pwnd"?

  • @Shmuck60 pwnd= owned= exclamation of the win against ones fo. in this case, the squirrel... was pwnd by rex the lizard.

  • @RadioactivePiggy Thanks for thhe reply/info.

  • @Shmuck60 you are welcome :) and I would do it again if it helped!

  • @RadioactivePiggy pwned is actually different. owned just means that. pwned stands for powerfully owned

  • @wneely0224 i can agree with that lol

  • @Shmuck60 Pwn is a leetspeak slang term derived from the verb own, as meaning to appropriate or to conquer to gain ownership. The term implies domination or humiliation of a rival

  • would never let my animal eat a wild one...never know where they've been

  • How red necks feed there reptiles

  • @PythonMania364 How morons use "There" instead of 'Their"

  • @scruggs7 We'll english is not my first lauguage, its actually the third i learned since moving here to florida. And between French,Espanol and english, english was by far the most challenging to learn. English has so many words and words that are useless and a simple letter change gives a similar word a whole new meaning. Makes no sense.

You seem to have taken offence to my comment, answer me this, are you a red neck? Huh pahhw??

  • I bet your sav was sick or dead by now? That squirell more than likely was carrying something, prob had parasites. Not to mention that thing was too big for your sav

  • My dogs never get the squirrels. I am impressed! Good job

  • roflmao awesome overkill :D

  • "defends it's home against an intruding squirrel"

    ^

    LOL!

  • holy crap! he cought the squirel?! jeezus!

  • This is some real redneck shit.

  • apex predators. we should all consider our selfs lucky that most monitor are small and not 15 feet long like crocs.

  • OMG How in the hell did he even catch it?

  • Alvin: "Holy crap... Theodore, it got Simon!!" *in high pitch voice*

  • I think Rex won.

  • lol nice

  • "Rex, you're my hero!" lmao ;P

  • "you gotta put him in the sun" so he puts him in the shade...

  • Cool video dude

  • good boy

  • Im sure this Monitor chased that Squirrel down.

  • not rex, but the squirrel

  • dumbasses , you shouldnt feed him something larger than a small rat.... thats like trying to swallow a watermelon...

  • @txturtlelytiger calm down he didnt feed him it he got it on his own

  • @txturtlelytiger whatcha talking willes

  • Some one sounds dumb as shit saying "you gotta warm him up to eat him" Lol thats what they spend most of there time in the sun doing, they aren't like turtles were they only eat there food in water lmao. They can eat when theres no sun around, I hope that wasn't the owner who said that. Its pretty badass though how it caught the squrriel

  • Okay every person who posted a comment that said Savs are 2-3 feet I stupid 4-6 feet dumbshit

  • Savs

  • @younggjewelZ ur stupid as hell dabs get 4-6 feet retard read dumbshit

  • ITS A FUCKING DINOSAUR!!

  • Go Rex!

  • Yeah , monitors will eat anything they can overpower ; but I know Rex didn't kill that squirrel cuz his owner replayed to me telling me I was right , it was already dead.

And I doubt Rex actually ate it cuz they can't swoallow anything bigger than than their heads ; (rex=juv) maybe if he was fullgrown

but still savs r medium size monitors 2-3f long rarelly 4 and that squirrel was huge

migth be a backtroath or a nile but not a savanna.

  • @AngelKabane well 4ft for a sav is not rare its kinda commen i do think he ate it just cus the squirrel looks big douse not me he cant eat it if its to big to eat monitors just rip it apart till they can eat it

  • @AngelKabane

That is a Sav, did you fuckin look at it Jack ass ?

  • @YounggJewelz

...Oh!...you dont say?..(i know rex is a savana cuz i own one!!)..how old are you 5? ;take a good look to my comment again dude, i said tha a blacktroath or a nile could eat that squirrel but not a savana.

there you go,i tried to be more specific so u can understand me kid.

freaking kids trying to be smart asses.

  • @YounggJewelz : i agree, that squirrel is way too big.

  • @txturtlelytiger Not really squirrels appear bigger than they really are, lots of poofy fur to blame they are really no bigger than say a small rat

  • @txturtlelytiger its not to big. u dont seem to know a lot of reptiles. like 5 other guys..

  • Very kewl vid brother.... I'm impressed. Its been a while since i see a video with a title that actually has what it says... Good job... 5 stars

  • tht is funny as hell

  • hunting lizard

  • lol nice! and billabong931 lol hed be a good hunter lol anyways nice vid and thats ur new guard dog lol

  • I was there for it dude. Squirell got in house and too close to Rex. Id definatly woulda beat the piss out of them for killing an innocent squirell.

  • That's bull! u guys killed it and gave it to him. that monitor is not big or strong enough to kill something that big

  • @AngelKabane what are you talken about monitor lizards are very strong and great hunters i know this because i own two of them and i have seen with my own eyes just what they can do when it comes to wanting to eat somthing and if they have a good chance they take it

  • i'll bet tht squirrel was like WTF when he first got attacked. lol

  • thats awesome! damn good lizzard man, take him hunting haha
