  • @FajitaWeasel no reactivation. just resets the OS. number will still be there.

  • Ok thanks for that info. But I ment to ask if the pre installed apps will be reinstalled to the phone after the hard reset. To make it clear I have a rooted lg optimus slider n I removed some of the pre installed apps so I wanna know if I have install it manually from the backup or after the hard reset it will automatically be installed ?

  • @angrybirds20121 what process did you use to remove pre installed apps. did you make a back up

  • Will the hard reset return all the apps that's coming with the phone ?

  • @angrybirds20121 the pre installed apps. any that you purchased from android market will show to be able to download when you sign back in. any that were free you need to write the names down.

  • @tsaxosll end key + send key + down volume all together for about 10 sec will take you into recovery mode where you can do a hard reset.

  • Thank you so much keep up the good work sweetie. I had this phone and the screen broke. So I could not go to the privacy settings. So I followed exactly and counted the number of times you pressed the volume keys to guide me. God bless you! I didn't want vm to have my info! Lol thanks a bunch!

  • @codydog45 hold buttons together as instructed but the power button is the last to press in or it will just boot normal

  • @mstechify yes, i know what to do. but it just stays at the lg screen. doesnt load up recovery

  • you may have just saved my phone, its rebooting now dunno what happened to it but wouldnt start up just kept going to andriod and restarting the start up thank you so much :)

  • @itsoldman some apps can cause that or just a glitch. it's a loop boot. glad you got you phone back

  • @mstechify Mine loop booted four times. then i caught on, Would you reccommend the Moto Triumph?

  • @atb2014 Triumph is faster, adobe flash support, like games, read a lot off your phone (bigger screen), and do NOT rely on GPS (GPS downfall).

  • this phone is fragile... worked for 3 days then touch screen became non responsive... tried reset and now its in a LG boot loop... Virgin Mobile needs to send me a replacement quick

  • @mcf3778 bootloop usually an app problem or you rooted and removed something you should not of or tried replacing or removing the virgin start up sound. did yo do any of those and did you try the hard reset

  • @mstechify none of the above... screen stopped working VM's awesomely ignorant tech support had me try some stuff and now it does not even boot up... now I have to wait for them since I lost my bestbuy receipt 

  • @mcf3778 before doing what VM tech support had you rooted your phone? If so you needed to UNROOT before calling them and reset. they will send you a phone first. be sure and keep your battery, cables, plugs, battery back. you only send the phone minus those. at least VM is gonna handle it for you no charge. past experience other companies I had to pay 35 for them to handle the warranty exchange. If you have not gotten email that it was shipped by Mon Tues call back and see if it was started.

  • @mstechify the one thing VM does well is send you a new phone no matter what the problem is... I was sent 5 intercepts even though I only swapped 2 of them and the last one I had to accept the new phone before I received a free month because my service and data is so poor... I only hope that the optimus slider shortage on the site dont affect my replacement.... I would do it some other way but I lost my bestbuy receipt hours after swapping the handsets :(

  • Just got this phone from VM, and the phone drains the battery less than 4 hours with a factory default setting. I installed JuiceDefender and this app allows me to use the phone a day long. I still think something is wrong with the phone or battery, so I plan to return and get a new LG Optimus Slider. Your video will help me to wipe out clean before I exchange the phone. THX

  • @kencha562 there are things to do to help battery manualy shutting off, background data, wireless location, wifi, gps, bluetooth, sync, screen brightness (no auto), no livewallpaper. apps I find can drain faster chat programs, mail programs, social programs, streaming music or video, low signal can drain as it is always looking, you are not gonna get more then 4 hours strait in hand use. you cant even get that from a laptop. With light use I went almost 2 days to charge.

  • @kencha562 I just tested extended battery 3600 for optimus v 2 days lots use, and 3-4 days light use. sent you link of what the extended batteries look like if you need a phone that does heavy use all day.

  • @uberzhoober I am just that smart ;) I knew it was one of several combinations and tried them all till it worked. was a lot quicker then searching since the phone just came out. felt like I was on the phone with VM tech support with all the battery pulls I did ROFLMAO little support humor

  • Thank you, I just got this and already had to do this. It would just keep repeating the start up.

  • @spikerogan the repeated usually caused by an app. did you have task killer or battery app installed?

  • @mstechify No to either. I did have a bunch of weird silly apps that didn't work I installed to try out. I didn't re-install those. Words with Friends crashed a few times before making me restart the phone. Then it was just stuck in start-up. I'm only using the phone right now on Wi-Fi until my contract ends with my current provider in a few weeks. Maybe that too is an issue.
