first off, i am so fucking psyched for this!! every little taste you gives us is just awesome. THANK YOU for putting so much time and effort into this.

my only concern- even watching this in HD, some parts of it look, well, bad. lots of noise, low framerate, etc. obviously this is a fan sourced production, but are a lot of those issues due to youtube, or is the actual footage like that? just curious.

again, CANNOT WAIT for this to be done, and thanks again for actually pulling this off.

Yes some images are pretty bad, but that is mostly due to HD upconversion. The version that will be released will be a Standard Definition DVD, and believe me, all the noise and distortion is much less visible in SD. Furthermore, Reptile is an EXTREME case. For a better idea of what to expect generally in terms of quality, check out the Wish sample we put up and while ago...

It's the actual footage - some is HD, some is SD and some is even lower. If that really bugs you, you can always just stick to the Gift footage (also badass, and all in HD). But, personally, I'm finding the raw stuff growing on me. I *feel* sweaty just watching that.

We sometimes HAD to use footage from other shows in order to fill up holes,hence some continuity errors. We think it's 100% worth it though.

Yes we sometimes HAD to use footage from other shows in order fill gaps and improve overall quality. TBH Reptile is an extreme case where we SERIOUSLY lacked footage (I think you can tell from the editing itself, LOTS of wideshots, etc) due to the fact that few people submitted FULL videos, but a lot of partial ones, pieces of songs. Hence why you might spot a few continuity errors, not unlike AATCHB and BYIT.

Oh, and to those who may wonder "Why the hell would you release Reptile if it's an extreme case of lack of footage?" We originally made a survey on Twitter asking people which song they prefered and Reptile won. Plus we think it's worth the interest because even though it may not be quite as fantastic as some other songs camera/editing wise, you're still not going to see any other multi-cam edit of that song from the LITS tour anywhere else...
