In the NFL they teach CB's to read the QB through the first 3 steps to ensure it's not a quick pass. Once they do that they have to go to reading the WR.

you look at a QB in cover 3. you dont look at him in man to man or cover 2

this is a TERRIBLE clip with TERRIBLE advice that should be deleted off youtube. The ONLY way you should look at the QB and read his drop is if ur playin off man from about 8 yards to give the illusion of a Cover 3. You take 3 VERY SLOW backpedal steps and read the qbs drop. Once you see hes droppin past 3 steps then u get ur eyes back locked on the receiver and play ball from there. To be able to do this effectively takes LOADs of practice though. When in doubt, just play the man

i no right me as a reciever i go inside but i prefer to work the outside get that corner 1on1 its over
