  • @rpavich It means just what John was inspired to write. God is faithful and just to forgive (that would be right standing with God) and cleans us from all unrighteousness (deliverance from sin). Yehowshuwa on at least 2 occasion in the Bible said go and sin no more. What we need to do as believer is stop trying to interpret the bible and believe what is written. Then we will be given understanding from the Holy Spirit of what it means spiritually and in this world & how it's manifest

  • @AchreousD

I realize what was written...I'm just asking if you sin, now that you are a Christian....

that would be a yes or no question.

  • @rpavich No, I don’t testify of myself I believe what The LORD said "if I sin, He is faithful and just to forgive and clean us all unrighteousness" according to the Spirit. That I believe! He that sent me, sent me to testify of Hs goodness, love, power and mercy. We, who believe His word, are blessed to live in and by His word. What law are you imputing to define sin? What law has Christ put us under? Is it not the law of love, faith & liberty?

  • @AchreousD

So all you are saying is that Christians; though they still sin after their conversion...don't have any sins held against them and therefore do not stand condemned before God....

is that all you are saying?

That's how we "sin no more"?

  • @rpavich No. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Not all will sin. What I'm saying I believe what is written, God by His word through His Spirit can and does mature the believer to sin no more. How long that takes or will be is up to God. But the facts are true, God can and will mature us that we come to the knowledge (knowing) of the Son of God, unto the measure and statute of the fullness of Christ. Thus we can are matured to sin no more, by His grace through faith.

  • @AchreousD

    Ahh...now that's different...

So how do you square your statement that we can be "sinless" in this life with the written account of scripture (not to mention 2000 years of Christian history)

Paul says "if anyone says that they are without sin they are a liar and the truth is not in them..."

How does that square with your idea of a "sinless Christian"?

Not to mention the obvious...has ANY CHRISTIAN EVER (except Christ) been sinless????

  • @rpavich Not everything people call "Christian history" is. Without specifics I really don't know whose History it is. Paul did not say that, John did and that by the Holy Spirit. Understand to whom it was said about and why. It's to those who thought they had nothing to be forgiven of, not those who repented, forgiven and cleans from sin. John also said As He is so are we in this world. Do you think John was teaching Christ struggle with sin as "believers" do in this world? I hope not

  • @AchreousD

    Yes....it was John...not Paul...

Yes...I understand who he was writing to also...and you can't do the standard "weasel out of the context"

John is addressing those who say what you do....that you do not sin!!

YOU are saying that you have the ability to not sin and so John says you are a liar....

    I agree with him.

  • @rpavich No, you’re wrong and that s a lie, I never said "I do not sin" That is your assumption and you are wrong to think or say what I believe about myself unless I say it. You do not agree with John, because you do not understand faith. John also wrote, “… these things I write unto you that You Sin NOT. And IF any man sin we have…” John 2:1; It doesn’t say, ‘when you sin,’ Butt IF. Do you not understand that if mean there is a possibility for something else to be, or be a different way?

  • @AchreousD

That's the dumbest logic that I've ever heard....you must be kidding.

If I said...."if you're breathing...." would that mean that you can stop breathing? Of course not!

That's so weak I can't even believe you threw it out there.

  • @rpavich LOL, you do not understand faith; for sure not lead of the Spirit in this matter. You wrote, "If I said...."if you're breathing...." would that mean that you can stop breathing?” Sure it does; its call death. When or if a person stops breathing, they can die. It’s not going to happen just because you say it but If God says it they will stop breathing. You need to be born again, learn how to believe what is written if you understand it or not, that you may have it from God..

  • @AchreousD

Again...here I am laboring to explain my point to you....this is getting tiring.

My point was NOT that you can't stop breathing by dying...but that breathing is not something YOU control yet I can use your "if/then" statement about breathing...which destroys your logic that "because John said "if" and not "when" that it's possible to be sinless"...

That's just silly and not even a good argument.

I'm bowing out now...I think that those who read this exchange will understand.

  • @rpavich You need to labor in humbling yourself to the Spirit and what is written; stop following the spirit of error whom has convince you God cannot deliver us form sin in this life. No one will change my faith in the LORD for I know He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what I think or ask. You simply have not believed what’s written. 1 John 2:1, 3:1-10; Rev 3:1-5; are clear, you believe its okay to live in sin like the world. I believe in Abba and the love he has towards us. Peace

  • @AchreousD

How nice...anyone who disagrees with you is under the "spirit of error"....how incredibly arrogant....

When is the last time you sinned?

Which day have you been sinless?

  • @rpavich I haven't said anything that is not written, other then to explain "IF" to you. No interpretation, FYI you have not disagreed with me but with Him that gave and inspired the Holy Bible. I believe the LORD and know and understand Him. I see another reason you don't understand the bible; you don't understand words do you? Last time, I don’t testify of myself. No matter how many time you lie, or ask I will not; so get over your own sin don’t worry about mine or the lack thereof. Peace

  • @rpavich "No, I don’t testify of myself"

  • @edwardpf123 Part 1

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” This is plain and simple; we are assured God is ready to forgive and deliver us. We are not delivered to a state of back and forth in and out of relationship (spirit) or in and out of darkness. The grace of God is deliverances (forgiveness and cleansings), not confession. His mercies are here for us simply by confession of sins. God is faithful

  • @AchreousD

What makes you think that because we are forgiven of our sins that we won't sin while on the earth?

  • @rpavich I'm sorry I just notice this post. To answer your question, 5:13 in the video I teach how that is done. It is not the man himself who stops sinning, but the power of God the grace of God which cleans us from sin. It is written. I John 1:9 is clear and speaks about being cleans from all unrighteousness (which is sin). Also it says those who are born of God do not commit sin, nor can they sin, for it says "they cannot sin." I believe it is written 1 John 3:9 Peace

  • @AchreousD

Could it be that when John says that we are cleaned from all unrighteousness that he's talking about our standing with God and not our daily performance? In other words...we still sin...but they aren't counted against us?

Clearly, John says we still sin, and the bible attests to that fact....and if you're honest with yourself, you KNOW you still sin...

Or at least I'm hoping that you are self-aware enough to realize it.

  • @edwardpf123 Part 2

and just to forgive us, also cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This is plain; God will forgive us our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness. Edward this text is not about us having an on-again off again relationship with God, which we have because of Chris through the Holy Spirit; nor is this text about a "in and out” walk (living) in light and darkness; our fellowship is secured by the Spirit by which we are sealed of God. This text is about God kindness and

  • @edwardpf123 Part 3

delivering power; which is His divine nature given unto us to live in the light; a life of faithfulness and love in this world even as Christ is and always shall be. This text is not the hopeless message you have presented of a continuance walk (living) in and out the nature of sin. Your message is simply a misinterpretation. It is written, "If we say we have fellowship with Him and walk in sin (darkness) we do lie." God's grace and blood is sufficient by the Spirit...

  • I don't get why many in christiandom embrace sin and say, "Well we all done sinned, and ain't nobody perfect" as if this justifies a person's want to continue in sin and to mock a believer who is very well at a different stage in their walk. Another person may be being sanctified at a further along stage than someone else. Your want to sin and still be in the flesh does may not be another person's desire. Some christians are just more mature in the faith than others. Just accept it

  • @FitnessMinded Amen, we receive what we believe. If we cannot see there is a state of sinlessness in Christ from Christ to and through us then we will not receive that blessing... Thank you for your comment... Peace unto you...

  • I like the way you explained sanctification.

Also, you lose the desire to sin over time. Habitual sin will cease.

Melchizedek was a pre-figure shadow of Christ. He was the transference of the priesthood from the levitical order to the coming Christ. That is why Melchizedek had no sin in the flesh

  • @FitnessMinded

Praise the LORD the explanation is His. Fellow servant Melchizedek is Priest of the Most High God, His order is beyond Levitical priesthood which is of the law. Melchizedek order is that which The WORD God (Christ) was appointed our High Priest; Himself not ceasing to be Priest. Christ is after Melchizedek’s eternal priestly order. Thank you for your comment and blessing unto you and yours.

  • "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god." Romans 3:23

  • @blakeisawesome Yes, all have sinned; as I noted in scripture clearly the sining is a state of pasttense, thus "have" not will, not do, not must sin, but have; However, there are those whom have heard the word of Christ and the Apostles ("go and sin no more") by faith through grace and now walk in the newness of life. We can do all things through Christ strengthen us. Nothing is impossible for God, not even delivering us from past sins, and the sinful nature. Peace unto you

  • Amen Brother Good message. He will Give you the desire of your hearts. This is why so many are lost they do not desire to live for God. Thanks again for the great message.

  • @tabbath27 Praise God, to whom all Praise and Honor is due. Not all are lost; many are just weak in the faith. Because they believe "Jesus" is the Son of God and died for their sins. However, because they have believed the lies from the pulpit for so many years, they find it hard to hear the truth. Thank God He is merciful and able to mature (perfect) even those who can not yet see or understand the truth about being perfect or sin free.
