7 fish in a 10 gallon tank?!?! Each puffer should have 30 gallons to themselves. You should probably have closer to a 100 gal tank for that many fish! I have 2 puffers in 50 gallons and wouldn't put them in anything less. They're very messy and active so they needs lots of space. Not to mention, they are very sensitive to nitrates an ammonia which I'm sure are sky high in a tank that crowded.
@madmax92gsx sorry bout the slow reply...all you have to do is add approximately 1 tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons of water... get yourself a hydrometer from the fish store(about $10-15) to double-check the salinity level... a good salinity level for brackish fish is between 1.005 and 1.015 @ 80 degrees F temperature... if ya have any other questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to help :)

can u use a regular freshwater filter on brackish water?

@GrayFoxsDen some green spotted puffer can get to 8 inches but most are about 6 or 7 at the most

10 gallons
7 fishes in the tank:
-1 pleco
- 2 small figure 8 puffers
- 1 big green spotted puffer
- 3 glass fishes
and they never fight, they have a lot of places to hide.
