This is an old vid now; there are a great deal of boot-loaders nowadays that do the trick. (Google for: RebelEFI or Chameleon bootloader) In my case, the boot option it's only via the BIOS. Cheers.
Make sure that the external drive is set as a boot device from your BIOS. This can be a bit tricky; depends on what BIOS your motherboard is 'wearing'. If anything else fails disconnect all drives apart from the external one. This should do the trick.
This isn't what the read deal looks like at all. WHen you open "about this mac" the apple logo is supposed to be the same greyish color as the little window it shows. Can you do a software update on it? Does it show the serial number for your "mac?"
Yes you can; there are several releases out there (go for an AMD release and not intel though). I'd propose iDeneb, Kalyway or Leo4all (all support your cpu, just google it) but i'd definitely add more ram to it and a better video card (nvidia highly recommended). Cheers
I have posted this earlier (roll down). Sirius and Nyla - Be chilled (dub mix). Pardon me for not replying earlier, been on a road trip to Athens & back...
A track I used to like a lot back then when I made this: Sirius and Nyla - Be chilled (dub mix)... Hope you like it and not find it "irritating" as someone else here :)
I'd recommend a c2d quad at least at 2.4 with 4Gb RAM. Ofcourse OSX is able to run on my origami ASUS R2H with a mere celeron @ 900Mhz and 2Gb ram (off a usb disk it is too) pretty well. OSX works with what you give it. The more, of course, the better.
Hey, I have a macbook, with only 4.3gig of free space left, I have a WD External HDD with 120Gig, can I run from is on a macbook, any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
Hmm, never thought about it, but I guess you won't be able to, since this is made to run on a Hackintosh (ie: EFI emulation included). I guess you will have to repeat the procedure on to an external HDD from your original Leopard distribution disk and see what happens...
How you did it? Can i just install my kalyway and during installation select usb hdd and mbr? And can osx86 damage my notebook? Thank you very much!!!
Where can I get that epic wallpaper?
