  • Rest in Peace Elisabeth Sladen! x

  • Thanks to Frontman for this, Dr. Who with Sarah Jane and Desert Moon, two of life's best things.

  • I LOVE the bit at 5 17 LMAO. So funny. they had such a good rapport, its a shame she left.

  • God, I loved her. In the episode where David Tennant sees her again, he beams at the sight of her and I was beaming along with him. It was so wonderful to have her back. Then she was taken away from us again, this time for good. This is such a sad day. Goodbye Sara Jane, we will never stop missing you.

  • i wonder if this is the end of the sarah jane adventures with such a colossal loss to doctor who fans young and old alike

  • Rest in peace, such a legend x

  • Goodbye, my Sarah Jane.

  • lol i live in brition

  • I love this video!!! I adore Sarah Jane, it's showed on TV in Hungary now and I fell in love with this series! I'm sooooo sorry that I can't / couldn't watch Doctor Who, unfortunately it's not as popular in Hungary as in Great Britain and it hasn't been showed in our country yet... But I've read everything I could find on the internet about the series - especially the Sarah Jane Smith parts... :D

Her hair was funny on Doctor Who... :D

This music is great as well! Cool video, I love it! :)

  • @KoszaSzello Thank you for your kind words.

Sarah Jane is a total sweetie; and I adore her both then and now. You said Sarah Jane is shown on Hungarian TV? Well, you'll see the newest Doctor, Matt Smith; this fall when he and the TARDIS show up on Sarah Jane Adventures!

  • @Frontmanfrg You're welcome! ;)

Yeah, The Sarah Jane adventures is showed in Hungary now but at the moment only the first season is showed (tomorrow will be the Warriors of Kudlak part 2 ;) then will come the second then the third... So I don't think we'll see the brand new doctor this fall - the series is on every Saturday morning. :) I've read that the 10th doctor and the 11th doctor too will appear on the series: The wedding of Sarah Jane Smith and The death of the doctor! :)

  • @KoszaSzello It's funny that I became a huge fan of Doctor Who despite I haven't seen a single episode yet - and I think I will never see... :( Only clips on youtube - with Sarah Jane Smith, of course... :D Maria said on one of the episodes that Sarah Jane was enchanted - well, I think she's absolutely right, this the best word to describe S. J. She's enchanted!!! :)

I adore your video, I can't stop watching it! :)

  • @Frontmanfrg have you heard the sad news that elisabeth sladen died today

  • @garrychelsea I just got it on the news wire here. RIP to a phenomenal lady.

  • Wonderful tribute! As Tom Baker was my first Doctor, Elisabeth Sladen's Sarah Jane was my first companion. I'm actually catching up on my missing Sarah Jane knowlege (availability of Doctor Who in the US was always an iffy thing) and have just started watching her first episode with Pertwee. I'm looking forward to rediscovering her all over again and after seeing your vid I'll probably watch all the Tom Baker episodes I already know and love all as well!

  • Sarah Jane is the character in the new series who made us all remember that this Doctor was the same man we had seen in the 1970s. It's great to have a hero who always goes on.

  • I LOVE this! So sweet!

  • 5stars! also, - she's hot

  • Ok finally watched it...THE BEST TRIBUTE! This was the best one you've done. The song was perfect and the scenes you picked really fit the mood. This is the best one...don't see how you will top it!

  • Sarah Jane was more than a great companion to the Doctor. She was, and still is, one of WHO's finest characters, thanks to the efforts of the incredible Elisabeth Sladen.

Sarah Jane is essential to practically all of the 18 original WHO serials in which she appeared.

Such WHO masterpieces as Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, Brain of Morbius or Seeds of Doom would lose most of their great moments without Sarah Jane.

Definitely one of DW's best-ever characters.

  • Agreed. Plus, I think it was Sarah Jane Smith that the Doctor actually loved/loves. Well, Sarah and now Rose. I think David did a very solid job of capturing that, even very early on in his time as the Doctor.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • I feel that the special relationship between the Dr and SJS developed because Lis Sladen has the extraordinary ability to create great rapport with her male costars. Lis took the SJS character far beyond the simple original intent of a stronger, more outspoken female companion,

Her large screen presence in Seasons 11 thru 14, show that Lis Sladen's abilities impressed the DW production staff.

Her solid presence is one of the major foundations that created the DW "Golden Age".
