They r refining uranium beyond 20% purity. There is no need for that for civilian purposes. I don't want more war, but I think that Iran is playing with fire. Not only do they categorically deny having a nuclear weapons program but they have gone to great lengths detailing why they believe having nuclear weapons doesn't offer any military or strategic advantage to them. i totally agree with you, but i would say that we do have sufficient evidence; 2-5% enriched uranium is commonly used in civilian nuclear reactors, while 12-19% is use for scientific research. Iran claims that they need nuclear power for "civilian purposes", and i think that i read somewhere that they have refined uranium to 20%. also, iran has MASSIVE amounts of natural gas (16% of the worlds), and it would be CLEARLY cheaper to take that route, rather than to spend billions on nuclear power.

Not only do they categorically deny having a nuclear weapons program but they have gone to great lengths detailing why they believe having nuclear weapons doesn't offer any military or strategic advantage to them. i totally agree with you, but i would say that we do have sufficient evidence; 2-5% enriched uranium is commonly used in civilian nuclear reactors, while 12-19% is use for scientific research. Iran claims that they need nuclear power for "civilian purposes", and i think that i read somewhere that they have refined uranium to 20%. also, iran has MASSIVE amounts of natural gas (16% of the worlds), and it would be CLEARLY cheaper to take that route, rather than to spend billions on nuclear power.

Iran almost got the nuclear weapon back in 1981. Is it because of the propaganda that you hear in the news? Is it the rhetoric that you hear on a daily basis to demonize a people? Iran's ideological doctrine only permits self defence. Let's look at the facts, modern day Iran has never attacked another country militarily, only defended itself. How many wars have the colonial powers had?

@Canadian9inches And plus the reason why iran never attacked any one they were a weak the nothing now they have a somewhat NAVY and CRUISE MISSILES, maybe NUKES, and some pretty strong supporters (RUSSIA,CHINA)
