  • So... the Xbox 360 has bluetooth, right? I mean, that's what the wireless headset uses? I know that BluTooth isn't used for controllers unlike for Wii and PS3!

  • Oh, so you have to access it through the computer... Slowness galore!

  • what so the conclusion is this is fake?

  • interesting indeed.

  • Congratulations!

  • 360 cant handle the wiimote

  • Hey what does subscribing do?

  • could you ever use the wii guitar hero controller with the xbox 360? cuz i dont wanna buy 2 if they won't even work with each other

  • no the wii mote will only work through xna. you cant just go using it for actual games

  • no actually its real..i did it.. thanks to xna game studio you can integrate the wiimote to work with your own games

  • lets see ps3 do that xbox 360 rules

  • With some hacking it can. It doesn't even need to connect to a PC cause it already has bluetooth built in :P

  • xbox 360 doesnt have bluetooth

  • This is actually true. The Wiimote CAN be used with the 360, you just need a USB IR receiver.

  • the wiimote uses bluetooth...

  • lol

  • the controller uses bluetooth and IR lights (usb could be used to power them but battery will also do)

  • can u believe it, i read that xbox is working on a wiimote too (obviously is not called wiimote) but i think it would be a BIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGG copy and lack or originallity

  • I call fake. At the 2:00 minute mark you can see that the wii-mote indicator lights are not on.

  • i dont care anyway but it looks like the wiimote is on at um 1:59 im not sure though the vids still a bit um GO SHIPPP

  • Why is it running so slow?

  • great job! was that on 360 or PC?

  • 360 pad is awesome, but imagine using a wiimote aswell :)

  • Does anyone else feel... hypnotized when listening to this guy's voice...?

  • I think this is love, dude.

    Just kidding.

  • cool just need ironing out to make it smoother and you've got some great potential for making cool games, plus you have the best part of the wii console with the amazing graphics of the 360!

  • XBOX pad is the worst pad in the world, Terrible design. FACT!

Anyway, this is fake, you can hear the windows 'bonk' sound at the end when he says bye ;)

  • No, its the best, after the GameCube-controller.

  • What a muppet, Xbox pad is the worst pad ever invented haha. You idiot!!!

  • The only way I could see this being done is to use the laptop to read the position from the wii remote (via bluetooth) then output an appropriate serial signal to 'fake' a USB 360 controller - which would be plugged into the 360. Thats the only 'legit' way I can imagine.

XNA as is provides no networking capabilites at all.

  • How does it works?

XNA has no bluetooth library. Does it receive data by PC and send to Xbox with debug mode?

    Anyway it is awsome.

  • Thats awsome

  • nice work and its connect with the 360s ir port

  • not very likely.

  • yeah man that's large keep working on it good work

  • Awesome! Hmmm would microsoft go along with the certification process considering it is using the Wiimote? I'm kinda doubting it but it would be amazing if they somehow did.

  • So how is the Wiimote connected to the XBox360?

  • That's awesome, man!

Shame it's so bitty, though - is that just rendering-side, or is it because of reading the Wii Remote? It would be great if it was real-time.

Since making XNA stuff, I was thinkinbg how cool it would be to make Wii Games. With your findings, it could be a possibility!

    Well done!

  • Thanks! Unfortunately, getting the wiimote data into the xbox is the slow part. I agree with you, it would be awesome if it was real-time. :) Maybe I can find a better way when the next version of XGSE/XNA framework comes out.

  • you're full of it.

The Xbox doesn't use bluetooth so has no way to interact with the Wii controller. Maybe if you faked this on a PC it would look a little more believable.

  • Ok, first of all you are a fucking dumbass. He is not using his 360 to interact with his wiimote, he is using his laptop. He is using XNA to read the wiimote, and he then compiles the code on the 360. Don't talk about things you don't know about.

  • Speaking of things you don't know about:

XNA compiles code on the PC.

  • At least if your gonna rip people get it right.

so i would shut up if i were you

  • nice work

  • Thanks!
