the first battle was just a tutorial . nero was learning to fight by battling Dante so Dante went easy on him ; Nero took the chance and defeated him but was shocked to see that Dante was immortal . Dante kinda got pissed off at his loss and left. during their second battle , Dante finished his anger on Nero and defeated him but felt pity for the poor guy and let him live !! ---> lol

Devil May Cry 4 is literally what happened before any other Devil May Cry franchise. The Devil May Cry franchise goes backwards. Nero is way before Dante becomes the main character. So in that matter: Devil May Cry 4 is: WAY before Devil May Cry 3 is: Before Devil May Cry 2 is: Semi-Final Devil May Cry 1 is: Final That is why in Devil May Cry 1, Virgil is dead And in Devil May Cry 3, Virgil is alive. In Devil May Cry 1, Dante has two amulets And in Devil May Cry 3, Dante has 1 amulet.

DMC3 was first, showing vergil be banished to the demon world, NOT dead, but defeated by Mundus, and turned to Nelo Angelo

DMC1 comes next, where Nelo Angelo(aka Vergil) fights dante again, and Angelo still has the amulet, dante has one untill he beats Angelo the third time.

DMC4 is next in line, and main proof in that is Lady and Trish appear, and dante dosnt know who they are in 3 or 1. simple, so the order is

3,1,4,2

Then you thought wrong, cause Blu-ray doesn't mean anything too a great looking game, only the fact it can carry more + with a little upgrades too the picture that not even noticeable unless your some kind of graphics freak!

Nero is the new protagonist of DMC4, and he fights Dante because he sees him as a threat. Dante is only looking for something that belongs to him, and he thinks that the Order of the Swords has it. (I think it's the amulet he's talking about)

Hm. I understand you. I didn't see the difference between Dante and Nero at first, but now I do. Nero is much younger, and if you compare his face to DMC3 Dante's, you'll see what I mean. Nero's features are a bit different from Dante's. For example, his nose or his lips. Focus more on their faces by looking at the cutscene's from the demo. (you can find the site at the links from wikipedia) I think that'll help you. :]

Dante has his own styles a few (or maybe all) of them from DMC3

But about Nero i think that he haven't any styles at all

Because in Dante Gameplay video left to the Health bar we can see Letters S,R,G,T which means (i think) Swordmaster, Royalguard, Gunslinger and Trickster

but Nero has some meter which means how his sword charged
