Live in the Shadowlands

An amazing movie, and so touching. Made all the more poignant as I used to hide in the stories of C.S, Lewis as a child. Beautifully performed and presented. When I get envious, or feel something is lacking in my life, I remember these words.

This movie may be the single most meaningful i've ever seen in my life.

I dont share it with anyone - occasionally I'll refer to it, perhaps in passing, but I've never invited another to sit down and watch it with me. I wonder if I ever will.

'The Golden Key' - a story by George Macdonald has to do with this word, 'shadowlands'. It is such an amazing tale. I read it years ago and recently listened again on audio in my car during a long road trip. I wish I could be more witty than just expressing the word, 'wow'! ...but why bother when blessed with the opportunity of such a word? :)
