I liked the design of--in the city, seeing up close in this video, it was designed like so, enabling there to be less cars on the roads, so that people would find other sustainable modes of transportation, walk, ride their bikes, skateboard, etc. You could also see that the homes have a one car garage, 2-story home, and of course sidewalks. Also the homes are in close proximity to each other so that you would get to know your neighbor.

I heard that that so far ..there's still no contruction sign to begin this work at all... something goes wrong ? ... and my opinoun, I think this city play is the worst city plan ..by the look of road network , it's gonna cause traffic jams..this project doesn't align with the phnom penh city plan. CBD should be in the central.. from what I see tall building is being build everywhere ... it's going to be like bangkok.. ugly and polute.

This project look awesome and deceiving. This is a foreigner investment by Korea. Cambodia need to grow, improve, and advancement I agree. But I'm concern what will happen to the people of Cambodia? Will the poor become wealthy enough and stable or the rich are become richer than ever. I don't see a lot of rich Cambodian in Cambodia. Lots of rich foreigners. The idea seem is positive.

Foreign investment and high quality development such as this Camko City project is what Cambodia needs. This project will have an impact on poverty. As a result of this development, 3 to 4 percents of the population maybe lifted out of poverty per year. This is exactly what is happened in Vietnam. The challenge is how to make sure the growth is not coming at the cost of hurting the poor,like force eviction or not compensating the poor for a fair price for their land.

i went to check out the condo models in camko city thinking it was affordable and i was pretty suprised that the price range was in the mid 100k. that was out the door for me, but it looks like a promiseing city. i cant wait for it to be done.
