Kyrie is a tremendous buzz to sing. Serene start, then lots of musical 'struggles' between the various parts, especially Sops & Altos. Climax is a 'stratospheric' soaring of the parts up there in rarefied air. What an exciting and joyful experience to soar in such harmony in this wonderful work. Ends in a lovely, calm resolution. Truly inspired stuff. And 'enchainez' (hope that's spelt right) to the flowing Introit beforehand - what a stroke of genius. What a privilege to sing.

this is beautiful, my high school tour choir is singing it, and kyrie is by far my favorite piece.
