it's the XY from gaugear (sp?). i hooked it up to some of the synth perams (filter, res, ect.) and then hooked that up to my phone. so it's a more expressive synth. nothing too crazy.
i do too. it's exciting to know that the day is coming faster then i thought. what i find interesting too, is the idea of multiple players all interacting with one source with individual controllers. so that a jam wont be limited to just a few people, but hundreds can work on their own to create one performance.
Nice! Just went through your other videos as well, I like your stuff very much! Is TouchOSC talking to Reaktor directly in this setup or are you using OSCulator? You should try the "Mix 2" layout with its 2 xy pads as well. You can probably do mighty crazy stuff with 4 parameters I can imagine. Cheers, rob.
how do you set this up? The guide on Circle Six Music's blog is gone

Do you have to use a wireless router or can you create an ADHOC network?
kharee 3 years ago
i have a wifi connection, which is how they set up touchOSC, but i'm sure any network connection would work.......
theologiae 3 years ago
@theologiae No it won't! You'll get pretty awful latency, not useable, tested it through a router. So is NI making mac friendly applications?

@kharee: Yes, you can create an ad-hoc network for TouchOSC. Some say it feels faster that way. Both ways have worked well for me.
