  • this song will always remind me of home, where the grass is greener, with Josef K and the gang

  • get on home, cindy, cindy, now opie shut your mouth!

  • Today i heard this song on the radio. Ive searched it and I saw different covers. This is the best of all.

  • Oh yes...Cindy!! I agree!! It IS awesome and he has captured the blues and remade this really, really well! :))))) (You can stay and play with me...Cin...I have a sis named Cindy too ;)

  • 1st semester sophomore year, I had the chorus/drama teacher as a Bible teacher. We have quite a few foreign students at our school, and some have "American" names that they pick because who can say Yuthanun Umnutkikul? Well, one Chinese girl by the name of Cindy in that class and the Jones started singing this song one day.

  • Learned this in music class

  • yay, cindy :)

  • This is a good version of this classic song, but nothing can compare with the version done by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, also available on You Tube. Check it out!

  • Robert Plant is just amazing! People can hate all they want on his new stuff, but if he can keep making amazing music as he grows older instead of dropping out and just saying "Music is not the same", then he has stood the test of time and he is truely an awesome musician! The haters can have their Beiber, Kesha, and whatever else their poor excuse for music is, I'll stick with some REAL talent!

  • What's SAD is that your limited mind doesn't allow your musical taste to grow. Robert Plant has only grown since hooking up with Krauss. This is his original style before the infamous zep, in case you youngsters aren't familiar with that. He is broadening his horizons and not limiting himself to one thing. Page would likely be honored to hook back up with him again. Liking more than just rock does NOT make one a bad person. It only means they are cultured. A true music lover will love any kind

  • When he started doing that country chick Alison Krauss his stuff got real bad. He will never hook back up with Page again Sad very sad Im in my early 20s and will never get to see Page N Plant :(

  • this is actually my fave song from the whole record, i love the simplicity of the music and the lyrics are just lovely....

and, well, nothing can go wrong with Rob Plant's voice

    sooo SUCK IT HATERS!

  • Do you guys really wanna know the lyrics to the classical cindy? go to meh profile. and in my comments they are there.

  • haters suck

  • not to mention,,i will not be buying this new LP..or the last for that matter or the one before that either,,so sad and star has fallen to the wayside

  • @chevzillla

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.......

    whatever

  • @chevzillla ...are you kidding? As if you wouldn't pick this over some of the garbage out there! This is incredible!

  • robert has taken a very strange twist from his earlier music,,i have seen him 4 times in concert,(solo),a true master at what he does,,BUT,,i have to say its not as good as before ..to the point now he is comming to nashville to promote his new LP,and i wouldnt walk across the street to see it at no cost,,needs to go back to the roots of rock-n -roll that made him what he WAS,,the last several LP's were from some strange person who i now dont know,,,,,my .02

  • stop livin in the past its fuckin gone get real and stop whinging, we all loved his earlier music and still do! buy the album and move forward, cos if you listen very hard the tunes will come to you at last!

  • Great song!

  • anyone here hear the resemblance to "road I must travel" by The Nightwatchman

  • as a "Cindy" I totally approve of this sing

  • So excited to hear Robert Plant's version of this song ~ my grandmother used to sing it to me when I was little!

  • the blues and troobadour -ness always suits his style

  • Robert Plant and Bob Dylan are the greatest musicians of all time precisely because they keep reinventing themselves and are the epitome of class. They are never content to keep doing what they've been doing and always go in new directions, pushing themselves across new boundaries, covering new material and musical genres or doing old material in new ways - for which they are the greatest musicians and for which we music fans are better off.

  • robert plants vocals are the greatest in rock history and this song added today sep.17.2010 will eventually have thousands no millions of views because its just that good.
