She wasn't in the slightest bit "desperate". A great artist like Ofarim doesn't deal only for the 'hip'; all human life is there! Kids included... but open your eyes and ears a little wider; there's plenty of comic adult subtlety in this fantastic performance.

Also, calling a jolly kiddie tune like this "shit" is melodramatic to the point of being bizarre. I mean this or... "Oranges and Lemons" is far from the greatest most profound artistic song-writing statement but who wants it to be?
