I think Rugby 06 is the hardest to win but even in elite i won the the world league knockout cup with a div 3 team but it still not as easy as 2003 and rugby 08
also, on my version scoring drop goals doesnt count. even when i score it, it counts as if i didnt. i check on replay, it went over and through but it doesnt count...
easy tactics for this game. get a couple of good wingers, like robinson and lewsey for england or lewsey and voyce for wasps. get it out to the wings, get past their wing, then shoulder barge/sidestep the fb. easy. then from the kick off get it to your fh or kicker (for me wilkinson) and boot it up inside their 22. i usually win line outs so unless im unlucky i score 2 tries within about 2 minutes.
It really is. I managed to beat NZ 64-10 with England one time, on elite. And Australia 41-21, South Africa 57-7, and Argentina 25-0 with USA. Really is too easy - as long as you have loads of players in the pack marked with the 'Ball Winner' ability, you never loose the ball, therefore you can score plenty of tries.
The real Jason Robinson would've done even better. He would've scored under the posts
