Was that Mariska (later of Shocking Blue) that Leo introduces first? It sure looked like her. Now, I don't know any Dutch, so I don't know if I could read anything with any sense on the history of Shocking Blue, but was Mariska like a fashion model before she joined with Robbie to form Shocking Blue?
No, Mariska Veres was a singer all her life and sang in many bands. She was in a band called Mariska and the Motowns before Shocking Blue. BTW: she didn't form Shocking Blue with Robbie, that band started out in 1967 with a male singer called Fred de Wilde and made one album on Polydor with him. Mariska didn't join until late '68.
