Remarkable! La Moser's voice here is lyric, almost delicate. The enormous power behind it is held in restraint, although the listener is certainly aware it is there. That is what "lirico-dramatico" soprano means, I suppose. What a phenomenal artist she was! We shall not look upon her like again.
Nobody who didnt hear La Moser live can imagine the sound of this soprano! She has been the astonishing dramatic coloratura, with Callas and Deutecom. A REAL DRAMAQUEEN from the bottom of her heart. And then this light singing of churchconcerts! GREAT GREAT GREAT! Thanks for posting
