Yes ,it's forbidden 'cause it sounds off. It's called tonality.

I'm a classical and flamenco guitarist and I'm studying armony too. I've already done music theory exam,so I know theory. The point is: at least tune your guitar and take constructive criticism , 'cause this is play some strings without logical.

I know music theory too, being a pianist for 12 years, and no, it's not forbidden, it's called transposing. This is done even in the classical repertoire.

By the way you failed the music theory class from my point of view lol Tonality (when comparing to original compositions) would support your argument. Though as the guitarist in the video commented and mentioned in his description.. it is his version / transposition. Therefore your argument in tonality is thus moot. I highly doubt anything in this comment you typed is relatively true because this is level 1 basics of understanding theory in music. To the person of this video beautiful playing :)

What tuning are you playing in? I play in standard and when I play it, it doesn't sound as...."serene" (for lack of a better word) as yours does. It sounds like the actual recording - tone wise, I mean! Your version sounds spot on as well, though :)
