where do you live do you teach guitar lesson? how about i teach you how to speak and write hmong probably and you give me free guitar lesson. service for service...how about it. just curious but serious.
Nice...there's not a lot of Hmong youth nowadays who can read and write in their own language. (Although this can extend to people who speak Japanese, French, Samoan, aboriginal languages, etc. where their native tongue is not the language of communication.)
There's a few things I would really like to nitpick about grammar usage and a few things I want to clarify for you because you're using it wrong, but it'll be too long a post. >.<
Man, I give you props dawg, my nephews and nieces can't even speak Hmong anymore. When they visit my parents it's almost as if all of them are deaf and needed my parents to do sign language like grab the plate and spoon to show them do they want to eat.
It's really funny how off-screen, you sound like a regular Hmong guy. But when people see the actual video, we're like "Whoah, wtf?!" Haha. Great pronunciation. If you was dubbing a video or something, I would've believed that you were Hmong. You have slight pronunciations that is slightly off but you can BARELY recognize it. Your voice is different when you speak English and sounds different when you speak Hmong. Must be a dedicated fellow to learn this complicated language so fast.
OH MY GOSH!!!! I am throughly impressed, I really like this song, and the other few you have posted, Keep up the good work!!!! Just curious, what brought you interest in writing Hmong lyrics for a song?? :)
@kumaz20 Well, I am learning the language from my friends and I thought writing music would be a good way to practice my grammar. And singing helps me get used to the shapes my mouth has to make. It's very different from English. I can use all the help I can get. haha
@wekillphatbeats Well, I have an English music channel too under the username AlexBonnot. Translating and keeping the musical quality is tough, but when I get some time, I'd like to get them up on that channel. For now, I do have a translation in the description.
Wow awsome
