dc-9s are sweet dawg, i hate that delta is replacing all of them with md-90s and md-80s.. nwa had dc-9s from the 60s, i was lucky enough to ride one, but just heard the last dc 9-30 is going out of service september 22nd, enroute ewr-dtw
I can't tell if you ether landed on the longest runway of the airport or the newest one. I know its one of those 2. BTW how did you get the same window seat coming back?
Ah. That must be Rwy 9R. Gotta love that sound when they drop the throttle.... Then the thump of the tires on the pavement.. Then the reversers. Music to my ears!
What DC-9 was this 30/40/50?

I'm going to be flying on a DC-9 next month. Which seats in the back are aligned with the window in the -30, -40, and -50?

Is the 9R/27L runway still being used? I don't see any aircraft using it.
I know 9L/27R is being used as a taxiway..
