  • I change my mind-_________-

  • The chord was wrapped around the baby's neck is why it was cut early. That's why there were saying not to push.

  • awful midwives

  • Why can't they shut up instead of yapping all the time while she pushes?

  • hemeroid ass

  • what is with docs pulling on thier heads to get them out... just let the contractions and the moms push the baby out

    :(

  • I'll be going through this on NOVEMBER 7TH 2011 and i have doen natural birth w/o meds twice before but i am still very scared .

  • how bad dose it hurt? from a 1-10

  • Comment removed

  • @Dogsrock12321 ..... on that scale i would rate it an 11 :-/

  • I'm very sorry they cut the cord just because they could see it. Nuchal cords should not be cut. Please see the work of Judith Mercer - google Nuchal Cord managment. When the cord is cut before birth it can have devastating effects - depending on how much blood is inside the baby at the time they clamped and whether a shoulder dystocia occurs. I am glad your baby did not have any other complications and survived.

  • @Deaverl that's what I meant about a 'nuchal cord'. It is a cord around the neck and it should NOT be cut. The cord can be wrapped around the baby and still safely be born. The cord is carefully unwrapped and the baby is quickly reoxygenated via the cord. If it is cut the baby can be dangerously lacking in enough blood to breathe and sustain all organ functions. Cord around necks happen in approx 30% and it is our response that makes it dangerous. Cheers

  • @Deaverl I'm very very sorry Deaver. I didn't mean to direct my comments at anyone in particular, but I have been spending a lot of time researching nuchal cord management. Judith Mercer and Rachel Reed are both very respected researchers that have published information for OBGYNS, midwives and parents about nuchal cords. A lot of the time nuchal cords are 'scapegoated'. The importance in improving the management of nuchal cords at birth is because cutting the cord can be the cause of death.

  • omg ii cant believe ii will be goin through this in 6mnths....iim soo nervous n xciited at the same tiime =/

  • Yea jerk that head, rip that baby out, tee off in an hour. Having a baby at home is much safer.

  • natural childbirth is delivering a human child vaginally has nothing to do with the use of pain medications. everyone has different ideas of enjoying their labor and delivery whether it is peaceful and calm of full of feeling every pain. and every woman have the right of choosing what is best for them. just congrats on having a baby that is healthy and hopefully you can look back on that day with happy memories and no regrets

  • @andylen83 No no honey all natural childbirth is without pain meds, thats what the nurse or doctor will ask you at the very beginning. Beautiful childbirth btw XD

  • Comment removed

  • none of you have any idea what a natural birth is do you?

  • so brave

  • why the heck is that woman counting?! american way of birthing is so weird

  • And I just had spaghetti...crap

  • This is not a natural birth

  • @dproffessa You are totally right its not natural. The baby came out of her mouth instead of her vagina.**eye roll**

  • this is truly a miracle of life, beautiful!

  • @AngryActivist45 Luckily for you, the way hospital deliveries work is by getting you in and out as fast as possible. 1/3 american women have c-sections cuz it's more timely. The doctors also love to give you a bunch of drugs that, yeah, kill the pain.. so much sometimes that women cant feel their contractions and it puts the baby in danger. Also, maybe natural childbirth would scare you shitless out of never having another kid again, considering you think your own child isnt worth the pain.

  • There is NOTHING natural about this besides the DNA involved. the dr, stirrups, oxygen, drapes, the cord cut before the birth is awful and NOT natural. Sorry. congratulations though.

  • this is anything but natural!woah !

  • If this were a natural birth, the woman wouldn't be lying flat on her back with her feet up in stirrups, she's be upright in a squatting position. She also wouldn't be hooked up to all those tubes and masks and stuff.

  • @AngryActivist45: you sound fucking selfish, you bitch. All you care about is YOUR looks. Well, your boobs are gonna sack sooner or later and so is your vagina.

  • HOLY SHIT

  • it sounded like a cat

  • WHY did the dr cut the cord? He could have easily un wound it from babies neck!!! WOW!!!

  • @melissaholstrom1 because it's EASIER for the lazyass doctor to endanger the life of the baby dontcha know.

  • lubricate her jesus

  • EWIE thats the only thing i wont like about birth is the ambillical cord DX

  • i don't want kids anymore.

  • If I ever have a baby...(17, not even thinking about that lol) The first thing I'm gonna tell my doctor is to NOT....be pulling and tugging on my baby's neck and head. MMM-MMMM. No. ....that is if I can even get through that! ^ Geez, I don't even think my hips are wide enough to deliver the baby! Haha.

  • @LaughOutLoud385 please cuz my bff broke her neck because of them pulling. dont let them do it. and ahahaha yes, im only 13 but im tellin him the same thang.

  • @LaughOutLoud385 they have to do that to help get the baby out... it doesn't hurt the baby..

  • what about the bearing in here pussy?

  • Sorry, but I'm 16 and I find this beautiful. I want a child so bad, and I can't wait. <3

  • @girliegirl7171 me too!

  • nice birth

  • @AngryActivist45 Seriously? All those orphaned kids to be adopted had to be born somehow! If you think everyone should be like, "Oh, I want to have kids but my vanity is more important. I'll just adopt!" Well then, dumbass, there won't be any kids to adopt because no one will be willing to have them.

  • if all thoes little 14 and 15 year old girls would see how much this really hurts they would learn how to go and get a condom and wouldnt have to deal with the pain. child birth is an amazing thing and its very nice of women to share there experience with other people.

  • that was really fast!! woww

  • beautifull

  • and my husband wants to have children... he must think this is like lifting weights. after seeing this video, I DO NOT want to give birth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WTF IS ALL THAT WHITE SHIT THAT COMES OUT AFTERRRR

    YUCKKK

I NEVER WANNA SEE A PUSSY IN MY LIFE NOW

  • @L00kAsss Oh grow up, it's LIFE. You started out that way too, you know.

  • @L00kAsss well if u wuna c stuff like that then g2 wikipedia and type in vagina or lesbian s3x positions goshhh

  • @L00kAsss and with your asshole mentality, you probably never will...

  • @L00kAsss yea rite

  • thats hot

  • @AngryActivist45 Well saggy, stretched out skin, and breast is all worth it. You are a genius if you think your vagina doesn't go back to normal. You might want to get educated before you put your opinion out there, No idea having your own children was selfish and only caring about not getting saggy and stretched out skin and vagina wasn't. You are the on e worried about "some baby" messing up your vagina not me. You sound very selfish to me.

  • @AngryActivist45 I admire those willing to adopt. I am not one of them. It is not the same as having your own child. Why should I give up the opportunity to have my own because a mother out there for one reason or another was not able to take care of theirs. There are many ways of helping these children that do not involve adoption.

  • what the fuck just happened

  • cruelest for of birthing..interventions...i about to have a homebirth and it WILL NOT BE LIKE THIS!

  • @zebell33 I totally agree with you....what was the point of the dr pulling and tugging on the baby like that. they should only be there to catch, not force it out. i only like dr's when the are absolutely needed. i bet if the dr didnt intervene she probably wouldnt have torn.

  • Great video

  • fab video, childbirth is amazing...I am looking forward to doing it again despite the pain.

  • @AngryActivist45 You've hit the nail square on the head. The 800 lb gorilla in the room any time we talk about sustainable development is the rapidly increasing global population and the pressure it puts on earth's natural resources. Props to you. Spread the word.

  • @BowToYourHighness I admire those willing to adopt. I am not one of them. It is not the same as having your own child. Why should I give up the opportunity to have my own because a mother out there for one reason or another was not able to take care of theirs. There are many ways of helping these children that do not involve adoption.

  • this is the most ridiculous way to give birth ever. shaved, under bright lights, with someone screaming at you, counting. ugh.

  • @AngryActivist45 - Well, that's one approach. I wish you the best of luck. Check the medical statistics for the heightened risks associated with the birthing approaches you mention: increased risks of health complications (potentially life threatening) to both you and the baby; increased risk of infection to you (C-section), etc. There are trade-offs for all routes you choose.

Post-birth, routine exercise will bring your vagina back to pre-birth condition very quickly.

  • they showed something like that in 8th grade O.O made me never wanna have kids ew

  • beautiful...nice job

  • I think they should show these scary videos to high school girls, that'll teach them! It worked for me! :)

  • @prettywoman44 -- that was a good response very funny lol

  • @prettywoman44 I remember watching a birth video in year 7 of high school, very creepy

  • cord loop

  • They're "pulling" on it to help stretch it around the head. Your body completely takes over and if you let it do what it needs to it really is a "natural" process

  • Why are they pulling on her vagina like that. Won't the baby come out with the mother pushing. These videos on here are really scaring me. I am pregnant and do not want to go through that.

  • @jlmjen - I'm not entirely sure what was going on here, but I think the cord was wrapped around the babies neck in a way that made delivery difficult. Notice at around 0:35 they told her "don't push" and cut the umbillical cord with only baby's head emerged , then baby all but slid out.

Learn as much as you can about child birth and you will be much less afraid, and with that, much less in pain. Natural child birth is what your body has been designed to do for millions of years!

  • I am going to start pushing in about an hour wish me luck

  • @catluverabcdefghijk1 Good luck!!!

  • @catluverabcdefghijk1 i would have but your baby is alredy about 8 months old. lol

  • I am actually at home right now in labor with my husband and we are trying to see what ways to push are better. I have a midwife and she said i can push on my back like you or squatting down. I am not sure what i'm going to do.

  • omg mmm ahh

  • I didnt need to use the f word sorry

  • doctor is a fucking idiot i have attended 4 births, no need to reef on it like that.

  • @calebandteresa I agree!

  • amazing!!!!!!! thanks for sharing such a wonderful experience...

  • Well done mommy, congrats

  • i would cry too after that !!:)

  • Normal birth... why all the sterile drapes the hands in the vagina, pulling the baby's head, IV drips... certainly not what i would consider normal!... or is normal simply meaning non-c/section?

  • @SeraPowa You took the words right out of my mouth! I was thinking, "how is this birth a natural birth.... oh cause it was vaginal." which is not not the norm these days.

  • wow! That was such a quick birth!..i mean from when the head began to crown....it only took like a miute from crownng to birth! My sister took like an hour from crowninng to birth...she had to push for ike 40 minutes! the baby barley moved for her so she had to do all the work!

  • beautiful!

  • 1:01 Look at this mess...

  • the baby isn't even out and the cord is being cut???? We waited five minutes until cutting the cord so the baby could soak up every nutrient left in it.

  • it was around the neck and probally too short to get around it so they had to cut it so the baby did get strangled

  • Whatever, that cold had plenty of slack..... it easily could have been puled over the head. The dr. was probably just trying to make the birthing process faster puh. Beautiful birth though...good job momma!

  • ok...... perhaps it did. im not arguing with you.... im just saying that would be why they cut it. both of my kids didnt get their cords cut for awhile.....

  • : )

  • @shannahartzell I was thinking the same thing... what a lazy OB!! Gah!! All three of my boys were lotus births... meaning they weren't separated from their cords/placentas until they NATURALLY dried up and fell off... only took a few days.

  • praise the lord......this is the way we all were born.....

  • @rodneyrocks100 This is NOT the way I was born.... I was born in the safety of my own home, with just my mother and father.... no one was yanking on my head to get me out or cutting my cord prematurely... this POOR baby!!!

  • the cord was wrapped arounf the babys neck

  • I'm not fully educated on this. (don't hate me) couls someone tell what placenta is and how does the umbilical cord left in the mother get removed? does it retract? or do they cut it....???? I'm sooo confused.

  • the mother delivers the placenta (along with the cord) after the baby. aka afterbirth!

  • the umbilical chord ends with the placenta. The mother delivers the whole thing, ending with the placenta.

  • Sorry for all the "women" that claim they don't remember the pain!!! I still do!!!!! I could not scream because the pain was too great! I thank the Lord for women that "supposedly" enjoyed the process-no it isn't beautiful, it's quite gross. And I planned both!!! Yikes!

  • ohgosh. will we all need stitches on our vaginas?? o.0

  • @smartypats lol....no. to avoid ripping, some women have their partner stretch their vagina's a bit with their finger (gloved) and olive oil to soften the perineum and loosen it up for birth so tearing is less likely

  • then we have to put up with jerks with small dicks making it worse

  • LOL omg great passgae

  • this woman make it seem to easy..she didnt even scream

  • I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first. This video made me nervous, BUT, I DO want this natural birth without a doubt. Being a mother does require tough jobs, including this one.

    Cheers to all mamas!

    Great video!

  • I like this video

  • congrats

  • I am 5 months and I'm Freaking OUT!!! but good job !

  • Comment removed

  • O.o i cant belive i watched the whole thing and im squemish but only somethings make me that way not this! XD

  • i'm so squeamish, but still i made it through this vid....(with my heartbeat throttled up..whew!)

  • As an experienced L&D nurse, sometimes it's too tight to slip the cord over the head and the baby won't be able to deliver without cutting the cord as this doctor did. It's true that some doctors do unnecessary procedures, but I don't think this could count as one of those. The baby is at higher risk for brain damage if you don't cut the cord here so the baby can deliver. It's also a lot harder for the doctor to cut the cord before delivery, so I don't think that counts as a shortcut...

  • Although now that I watched this video again, it looks like in this case it probably was loose enough to reduce over the head... It certainly isn't always!

  • Yea... I was just going to reply to your first comment and say that the cord could have very, very easily been slipped over the baby's head. I have no idea why the doctor felt she had to cut it so soon.

  • wow.. i hope the delivery of my baby boy goes this smoothly and with no episiotomy as well!!

  • Incredible. To actually see such as smooth birth with head down and the turning of the baby. Great job mommy!!!

  • now im really glad i had a c-section!

  • Fantastic - Thanks for sharing.

  • wlp0604: aww.. im rly sry 2 hear tht...

  • omg

  • Well the reason I said this is because I have watched TONS of birthing video's and most of them are able to bring the cord around the babies head. Both my kids had their cords around their necks and the doctor was able to slip it over their heads.......I'm not being ignorant, I've just seen alot of strange birth video's here and worry about some of the needless procedures doctors do and end up giving the babies brain damage. I know that EVERY birth is different.....

  • ahh!!!

  • ewe. i woud have told them to put the baby back if i made those sounds

  • ouch!!! omg ouch

  • That baby sounds pissed. But honestly, the moment brought tears to my eyes. Makes me think about having kids.

  • oh God. why am i a woman..

  • im never having kids lmao

  • It makes me INSANE to watch them clamp the cord when the babies head is BARELY delivered!!! What in the hell!!! At least wait until the cord stops pulsating or at the very least until the baby starts to BREATH!!! My baby is due in June and I'll be damned if I let them clamp the cord too soon.

  • I think they cut the cord because it's around the baby's neck.

  • Yes, that is the reason. It happened to my youngest sister--it was cutting off her circulation. :(

  • they don't have to cut the cord just because it's around the neck many times they can slip it over the head or deliver the baby in such a way that summer salts under it and then they can unwind it. I've seen many women have cords around their babies neck and very rarely do they HAVE to cut it...doctors just take short cuts and always intervene instead of doing things less intervenious.

  • The cord was around it's neck. It could get compressed while delivering, having the baby's heart rate drop. It could be dangerous. They have to do it.

  • umm the baby could have strangled, didnt you see???

  • No episiotomy. Listen to the audio, she wasn't cut but she has a tear. No wonder she was on her back, not laboring naturally. What you see is reaching in with hemostats and clamping the cord then cutting because the cord is around the baby's neck- nuchal cord. In almost all cases, the baby can be born through the cord or it can be unlooped. It is detrimental to the baby to clamp the cord early! Also bad for baby to put mama on her back. But hospitals don't use science based medicine.

  • @crunchymama25 agreed 100%...i believe if mama was abled to move around during labor it might have been easier for to give birth, not on her back, but maybe in a squatting position and listening to her body to tell her when to push and not a dr this may have ended up better. western dr only think about getting mom in, delivered, and out the door. when thats not happening on their clock they jump over mother natures head and intervene. smh

  • What exactly do they think, that if they don't count/tell the mom to push, the baby won't come out? SO STUPID and when I realize that the majority of the Western world births in this way, (those who aren't sectioned) I am horrified. Can you imagine counting and telling an animal to push? Your body does it! You don't have to have anyone else tell you how to do it! It happens! This is just abuse. The mother's position has nothing to do with her comfort or ease. It's all about taking her power.

  • arent' you over reacting a bit?

  • Comment removed

  • no extreme, lho

  • No bad just to give you felicitation and I wish you and your baby happy

  • i dont like the midwife cutting the side of the V .. even with pain killers afterbirth it will still hurt alot .. but congrats :) shes a beautiful baby .. :)GBU

  • I hate it when they rush the birth of the head, because the vagina needs to be stretched more.

  • take a look at the video called "Another Delivery Birth Video" - that's NATURAL!

  • omg, I'm almost 16 weeks pregnant, I probably shouldn't have watched this yet. It completely just freaked me out! But then again, I can't wait for my little one to get here... Do all vaginal births require oxygen masks??

  • If you go into a hospital in the US you're most likely to have a birth like this one, including oxygen mask, epidural, pitocin and also in most cases an episiotomy.

Unfortunately I can't tell you that this is an exception, it is the common way hospitals "perform" childbirth in the US.

  • haha thats soo NOT funny...omg your so stupid...and thank you we help your lazy asses....if it wasnt for white and black people...you wouldnt be anything..hell your not anything...you just think you are go back to fucking MEXICO u dumb ass...

  • the doctor said i didnt cut you but u did tear....its great i gotta penis

  • cute baby

  • i dont think in a natural birth they are lying on their backs with oxygen being told when to push... definatly an epi too...

  • my mom had me in less than a hour and she had a naturl birth

  • So....

  • I've watched a few of these videos and they are all lying on their backs pushing the baby up and out, would be much easier and have less interference from the drs if they were on all fours and had gravity as a help or at least leaning on the back of the bed in a kneeling position, so much quicker, easier and less draining!

  • Comment removed

  • so yeah.... as a guy watching this... yeah

  • GD blow your asshole right the fuck out

  • That's her brown eye.;)

  • WTF are you talking about?

  • gigety

  • I watch these videos on purpose, so that I never have kids.

  • For people that are leaving immature comments, you looked up child birth, you know what ur watching.

  • @pure2o6 lol ur soooo right!
