  • absolutely astonishing

  • Holy Cow!!! At 3:37 MY BALLS RETRACTED INTO MY BODY! FANTASTIC POST!!

  • OH WOW !!!! (ICE PICK) JAMES HARMAN STILL IS BAD ASS!!! NICE POST!!!

  • Who's better than this? Nobody baby. And when he sings, you know it's the truth.

  • Alot of blues masters have played at J&J's. I've been there many times.

  • that's rarified air- 3 minute solo! not for the faint of heart, you better have yer trick bag chock full!

  • I saw him in the 90's and saw him lately. He's still one of the best singers out there. no shit

  • I saw James and this lineup many times throughout the 90s in Long Beach. I've never seen another blues band that can hold a candle to The James Harman band

  • The Blasters and Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs come to mind. James Harman was in their class, but certainly not a cut above them. In short, James Harman has had some of the best blues bands around, always having great people playing with him.

  • @edboswell I disagree. Harman is, was, and always will be, the best singer of all the west coast cats.

  • @dunskie We all have our favorites, ask James himself how he feels about Phil Alvin and the late Top Jimmy as blues singers. I'm sure he'd be proud to be spoken of in the same sentence as those two singers. And we all know James has a high opinion of himself. Just ask him, and he'll wax poetic about both. I'm glad you like James Harman, what can I say?

  • @edboswell Alvin and Jimmy are two of my favorites as well. Merry Christmas. You obviously know Harman very well. lol

I have been in his presence whilst he has held court. You have too, I take it. Anyway, they are all phenomenal, and just about all of the West Coast guys are my favorites.

  • Kick ass!! James Harman is one rico suave mutha fucker!

  • very true

  • Joel Foy has laid down some of the finest trad. and W.C. blues tracks of any of his contemporaries. I think of West Coast Walk, Ice Cream Man and All About My Girl with Bill Clark to name a few.

  • man1 man! man! too much i want to own your entire collection as there must be a good hour or two of each gig1 you must trade or i will explode!!!! but erm' great footage !

  • As always - AWESOME, he he, this is Xmas for a harmonica-blues-fan.. Then Joel Foy, a great guitarist! Thanx
