I think usually the markets operate on greed and fear but THIS TIME its a mathematical impossibility.
A financial bubble has popped--and the bubble was created by rigging prices and interest rates. The dislocation of supply and demand, PLUS, the rampant money creation did it. These things CAUSED the housing crisis. The housing crisis is a symptom. We have to get to the ROOT of this.
You are doing a great thing here Enrique we can all redeem ourselves by getting the word out. God bless us all that gouged on those 80/20s.
We are all still brothers and sisters in America and in our industry. We are sticking together as a family of Americans and can still help guide, educate, and volunteer our apologies to past borrowers beginning with our database.
I will do my part to forward this to my entire fellow Realtor. Los brokers and investors list that I know.
In closing it is still not solely the lenders (Banks) fault. In my opinion I think the Loan officers and Brokers that knew well enough what they were selling should take responsibility. We as UPRIGHT professionals (regardless of what banks offered) should have better informed the borrowers. Yes, the borrowers signed but did they understand the index? Not most! Here is our opportunity
