Great game, epic music. I am still have my PSone console and its still work :) Parasite Eve is one of my favorite game, like Resident Evil, Tekken and Soul Edge. Maybe now its time to play this game again.

Yeah, it's kind of difficult to explain until you play it. The game has some FMV here and there but a lot of what goes on is from the in-game engine. It's really interesting. :)

They essentually set it up so that you were alone in a lot of extremely creepy places with a lot of "jump out and scare you" style bad guys. You gained levels and whatnot in the game but realistically it came down mostly to upgrading your guns. So spending a lot of time leveling up like you do in a normal RPG wasn't necessarily required, but was however possible.
