One day in highschool me and my friend cut out and went to go play hockey at a local roller rink we only played for about an hour till two local precincts were playing a game half way in the game there was a full on fight with both teams, people kept jumping in defending their teemmates...both coaches even jumped in with sticks. It was a good day.

But with any of these, there's no intent, that's just Bruins hockey: make them fight for ice and space and be physical

@felix2606 Ference is the kind of player that drops the gloves fractions of a second after a high/late hit or even if a guy takes a shot after an offsides call, say what you will about Marchand and Looch, but Ference wouldn't do the crap that he fights people over (or at least not on purpose). before that hit the worst thing he ever did was flip off the Montreal crowd, which is really something they deserve anyway so....
@felix2606 The "late hipcheck on Sedin" was because Sedin looked to be fixing to staple Marchand to the boards. If Sedin wasn't trying to nail Marchand then there would have been no hipcheck because Sedin wouldn't have been in the same space as Marchand.

@felix2606 Yeah, well, Marchand and Looch do go over the top sometimes, and the Ference and Chara hits were unfortunate and when you look back on the fact that the receiving players got injured, you think that they should have avoided contact, but not really Chara, that's a bad place on the ice, but he's not really that dirty if you watch him... But with any of these, there's no intent, that's just Bruins hockey: make them fight for ice and space and be physical

@felix2606 Ference is the kind of player that drops the gloves fractions of a second after a high/late hit or even if a guy takes a shot after an offsides call, say what you will about Marchand and Looch, but Ference wouldn't do the crap that he fights people over (or at least not on purpose). before that hit the worst thing he ever did was flip off the Montreal crowd, which is really something they deserve anyway so....

@felix2606 The "late hipcheck on Sedin" was because Sedin looked to be fixing to staple Marchand to the boards. If Sedin wasn't trying to nail Marchand then there would have been no hipcheck because Sedin wouldn't have been in the same space as Marchand.
