I've watched a lot of "Top 10 Megaman X Music" videos lately. Its amazing to me that Blast Hornet never gets any love. Personally, this is one of my favorite tunes in the series. It reflects the Maverick it represents perfectly, and it makes me want to kick ass.

I can't help but feel this song was inspired by something. But what it is i can't think of. Something just feels incredibly familiar about it, and i've never heard this song until more recent years. Just whenever i hear it it sounds like its own song, but something else keeps coming to mind along with it.

Have anyone noticed that almost all of the stages that have the word "abandoned/broken down/deserted/etc." in their names have dark soundtracks to them?

But I agree, this track sounds very evil and angry. Feels like battling inside a fighter jet and the world is crumbling around us. Still very cool though.

I highly recommend you to hear the "X3-RA OST" remix of this track. That one sounds even more evil and has this "corrupted" feeling to it. (in a good way)
