Actually being a fixed camera that doesn't move this would be surprisingly easy to fake. All you need is two different clips from the same fixed camera and you can key frame a mask one over the other in after effects. Since the camera doesn't move This would be a very easy process. I believe in Ghosts but am always weary of these Japanese clips.
